Comfortable room, book parking!
Pros:

Room was clean with a good size bathroom, reverse cycle aircon and very comfortable bed, block out blinds and elevator access. We were upgraded to a king room.

The location and friendly staff.

Cons:

Our bedroom was really one suitable for a single occupant as the room was v small and the bed only had a slither of room between it and the wall which had the TV on. The location was good for restaurants and nightlife. We went to the Ethiopian Cafe for dinner and had a lovely banquet meal. We then walked to the court theatre for a show. You need a after hours access code to get back into the building.

The first room was very uncomfortable, noisy and lacking in basics

The room was very small although this was not the main problem. There was no air con, but this would not have been a problem except the window opened onto a drive way and it was very noisy and lacking privacy. The curtains needed to be closed so no ventilation. No access to internet for the screen in the room which is below expectations of a modern hotel, just felt mean. We had a very uncomfortable night as it was too warm. There was a small fan but the room was still uncomfortable. I spoke to the reception the next day saying that I would like to leave and seek alternate accommodation with a refund. No luck but it was agreed that I pay an extra $40 for a better room, which I did. The new room was better and had the garden that was featured on the website, not the noisy driveway. The next day the reception said to me that the first room was for backpackers who were generally happy with the room. There is no indication of this on the website. I am very unhappy with my experience with this motel, the staff were ok but the first room was one of the worst I have experienced on my travels. It was poor value for the price and I would not recommend it.

good convenient location, clean and close to resturants
Pros:

The location was great, easy to find. Close to several restaurants. Rooms were very clean and had a kitchenette.

Cons:

No lift and had to carry suitcases up stairs. Staff did the mim that they had to and didn't really engage at all. The bathroom was not really well laid out, and the toilet was too close to the wall.
