Very modern and clean apartment but very hot bedrooms upstairs with no air conditioning
Pros:

Very modern and very clean apartment. Insulated. Reasonably quiet. Nice showers.
Lots of storage and space.
Very nice setting. Close to central Christchurch

Cons:

The bedrooms upstairs have no air conditioning or heat pump.
While in winter it would be fine as hot air would rise upstairs from the hear pump below, it is unbearably hot upstairs in hot summer nights.
We couldn’t possibly sleep upstairs (no fan either) and we slept on a sofa in the living room.
There is an option to leave windows open all night, but it doesn’t cool the bedrooms enough on hot summer nights.
Also, if you leave windows open all night, there is an issue with flies/mosquitoes.

Cons:

It’s was advertised on booking.com as check-in at 2pm but then on the day they changed it to 3pm with only about 1 hour notice, so had to change our travel plans last minute. Also did not get entry instructions until about 1hr before 2pm, so kept us wondering.

Pros:

New and clean. Comfortable and with new electrical appliances. Good location.

Pros:

Good location. Clean and nice.

Cons:

A little hot in the day as the rooms have no aircon. Not ideal for people who just arrived and wanted to rest before starting their holiday here in summer.
