Categories

Cleanliness
1
Many guests explicitly mention rooms and hotel areas as very clean; a few notes about a missed cleaning at 15:00 and missing waste bin slightly temper the otherwise positive cleanliness reports.
Service
1
Staff repeatedly described as friendly and helpful; a few comments note an overloaded reception and one delayed room cleaning, giving an overall positive but slightly mixed service impression.
Location
1
Location is repeatedly praised as central and ideal for sightseeing; many guests highlight short walks to the old town and attractions and good views in some rooms.
Room Quality
1
Multiple reports of small rooms and very small bathrooms, limited storage/ablage options, sometimes soft beds and low shower pressure; positives (comfortable beds, functional layout, AC) are outweighed by space and storage shortcomings.
Amenities
1
Several guests mention paid parking as a downside, missing fridge in-room, lack of trash bins, and very thin WC paper; overall amenities are viewed as lacking in some practical details.
Value for Money
1
Multiple comments explicitly call out a very good price–performance ratio and good value for a short-stay city hotel.
Food and Beverage
1
Breakfast is frequently described as good, varied and with vegetarian/lactose-free options; some guests noted limited variety (e.g., no scrambled eggs) and distracting noise in the breakfast room.
Overall Experience
1
While many guests would return and highlight cleanliness, staff and location, recurring practical issues (small rooms/bathrooms, paid parking, missing in-room amenities, occasional noise and service delays) reduce the overall impression to a mildly negative balance.

Solides Cityhotel
Pros:

Sauber und ruhig, Frühstück gewohnt solide. Aussergewöhnlich freundliche Gastgeber! B&B ist immer eine gute Wahl.

Cons:

Fehlende Zwischenreinigung. Hier wird am falschen Ende gespart. Rumlärmende Rentnergruppe beim Frühstücken…

Pros:
