A very pleasant experience for a good quality/price ratio (for a luxury hotel)
Pros:

The location and the equipment of the hotel is exactly what we expected. The hotel is huge but calm and very well decorated and equiped. Restaurant offers are great and diversified, breakfast offered many options. the pool is beautiful. Most of the employees very kind and helpfull.

Cons:

If overall the experience has been very good few things could be improved vs the 5 stars level of this hotel .
- the pool is big but not deep enough 1.20 m everywhere - temperature of water a little bit too cold for me, and no differenciation between adults and kids meaning you have to be OK to have kides playing around
- it was overall quite clean and well maintain, but not spotless (stains on some lobby tables, or some chairs in the room, some frame not well aligned, etc ...) - I assume this is a 5 stars for Egypt but not yet at the excellence level we could expect.
- People were all great, but the English level is quite low - and the egyptian accent not easy to understand, and some of them don't have the right training - one employee enters our room without knocking or ringing (our ring bell wasn't working apparently).
- The pricing is OK if you compare to other international places, but very expensive vs the offering existing outside the hotel. particularly car transportation US$ 55 for a one way from the hotel to Cairo downtown vs US$ 5 only with Uber for the same trip.

Enjoyable stay!
Pros:

Very high end hotel, staff very attentive, friendly and helpful! Pool area fantastic, rooms large and very comfortable and beautiful!Location very convenient when visiting the Pyramids.Breakfast was great, and variety exquisite.Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Cons:

We had dinner at the Asian restaurant on 2 occasions, first time was great, second time lacked in consistency in that the food and preparation,presentation, and taste being different, due to a change of chef!Also my son ordered the plain noodles , and when receiving his food , found that it had pieces of meat in it, as they used the same pan to prepare his dish , as they did other dishes for different patrons.He then did not eat it, as he is not a meat eater.It was brought to their attention.Pricing being high, so one would expect good value and high standards.The staff constantly ask for their personal names to be inserted on reviews on Trip Advisor etc, reviews should be spontaneous, and at the patrons prerogative.
