Varres Hotel

Very basic room. When you take a shower the whole bathroom floor gets flooded. Bad aircon. The room gets super hot if you don’t like it on all night. Very noisy, hard to sleep with people running around shouting to each other in the middle of the night. Very blend and boring interior in the entire complex. Breakfast was ok but not many options. We stayed one night and it was enough.
If you have a car the location is fine, otherwise no.

Die Lage des Hotel Varres ist idyllisch gelegen umringt von viel Grün und Natur.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich von freundlichem Personal gereinigt.
Das Frühstücksangebot war reichhaltig und von allem etwas dabei. Von Aufschnitt, Rührei, Speck, Brot, Toast, bis zu Gemüse und Obst.

Der Pool war sauber und angenehm zu benutzen. Man konnte tagsüber bis spät in den Abend hinein am Pool Speisen bestellen und Getränke ordern. Das Essen reicht von Pizza, Burgern bis hin zu Gyros, Feta und Nudelgerichten. Alles war äußerst lecker und die Portionen waren recht groß.

Vor allem möchte ich mich beim gesamten Personal bedanken. Alle waren ausnahmslos freundlich und kompetent nahezu liebevoll zu uns und sämtlichen Gästen. Vielen lieben Dank

the hotel was excellent! Our room was massive, it had very comfortable beds, a great tv and a nice balcony with view of the pool. The bathroom was great too! The staff was amazing and very kind! Breakfast was amazing with many choices to choose from! It was also close to all the cities here and especially bochali which had the best view ever!

Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit extrem unfreundlichen und respektlosem Personal am Kiosk am Pool. Dort fand auch das Mittag- und Abendessen statt, das wir gebucht hatten. Der Ober hat uns ewig warten lassen, wir konnten nie zur gewünschten Zeit einen Tisch reservieren, obwohl es möglich gewesen wäre. Wie kann man jemanden, der keine Touristen (außer Griechen) mag in einem Hotel beschäftigen? Ein Grund garantiert nicht wieder zu kommen. Er war nicht nur zu uns, sondern auch bei anderen Gästen frech und herablassend!

Poco attenti alla pulizia, evitate assolutamente la mezza pensione…. Qualità del cibo bassa e scelta limitata personale ( uno)poco attento che faceva da barista e cameriere. Consapevole che non fosse un hotel a 5 stelle…. Ma non darei nemmeno il 3 stelle.

O hotel na verdade é simples mas tem tudo o que você precisa. Café e piscina muito boas, possui elevador, estacionamento, atendimento excelente com dicas sobre passeios, informações importantes. Cama e chuveiro bons, minha única queixa é que o chuveiro é forte mas molha bastante o banheiro.

room was very clean and spacious especially washroom was very clean. Also, i loved their breakfast but fried egg was a bit salty. Other than that, it was very delicious and servers front desk agent were very friendly. Thank you.

We’ve had such a great time here all the staff go out their way to help.
Nothing is to much for them.
The rooms are modern cleaned every day. The breakfast selection is amazing.
We are definitely coming back to this hotel next year 100%.
The hotel is in between Zakynthos town and tsivili. So probably best to hire some sort of transport.
But don’t let that put you off though

Struttura immersa nella natura senza rinunciare alle comodità della città di Zante che dista a soli 8 minuti di auto(che consiglio per godersi tutta l'isola). Qui non troverete caos come nella zona di Laganas, quindi ottimo per chi vuole rilassarsi a 360"grazie anche al personale gentilissimo.
Unica pecca il nostro bagno, molto piccolo.... Con acqua che usciva dalla doccia..... E senza bidet..., ma per il resto è stata un ottima esperienza.

Τεταρτη συνεχομενη φορα στο ξενοδοχειο. good value for money, καθαρο με αξιοπρεπες πρωινο και ευγενικο προσωπικο. μια σιγουρη και καλη διαμονη με κοντινη προσβαση στη χωρα και με ευκολη προσβαση προς τις παραλιες τσιλιβη, αλυκες, κλπ. κι αν καποια μερα δεν θελει καποιος να παει στη παραλια μπορει καλλιστα να χρησιμοποιησει τη πισινα η οποια καθημερινως συντηρειται. τα λεμε του χρονου παλι

We spend 11 nights at Varres Hotel, personally I am very pleased with the way they treated us, the staff is friendly. Our rooms were spacious and clean, I love it! Having Air conditioning was extremely good! Warm outside, perfect temperature inside our rooms. We eat dinner many days at the Hotel, the food was great, and the staff by the pool friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have the pool where the children and us spend time and enjoyed ourselves almost everyday. We even became fond of our cleaning lady, she was so sweet and helpful, she kept our rooms impecable. We loved Varres Hotel! If you are traveling with children I recommend this hotel, beautifully surrounded by olive trees, and not far from Zakynthos town.❤️

Very comfy room nice people very good breakfast and supper! The hotel is close to town in a beautiful scenery. The pool is good.

We stayed here for a week end of September. Great location for all key amenities - reception staff happy to call a taxi or help with hiring cars etc.

You are about a 15 min walk to Zante / Castle / Bochali. 30 min walk to Tsvili. Taxi was €10 to zante. €12 to Tsvili.

We hired a quad and explored the whole island - great value too - would recommend.

Room was spacious - we stayed in room 220 overlooking pool - would recommend. I would suggest a kettle / cups / coffee etc to make it better.

Breakfast was good - good warm and cold selection / couldn’t want for more.

Pool was good - good loungers - they don’t provide beach towels - so make sure you bring these. The pool is located in the middle of an olive grove so it’s picturesque but make sure you bring insect repellent.

Good value overall for a weeks stay.

Cleaning was very good throughout the hotel. Would return and recommend to others.

Fint hotell med bra service, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, stora och rymliga rum med allt som man behöver. Städning varje dag om man önskar (corona anpassning). Avstånd till närmaste stranden är ca 4 km.

Bon rapport qualité/prix, salle de bain vieillote...
Avec Covid, la chambre est faite sur demande la veille pour le lendemain !!!!

Second time in Varres Hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They welcomed me back like I was family which is heartwarming.
There are still Covid conditions, but overall they are coping very well.
The guys on the front desk are brilliant. The breakfast too.
Thank you all for looking after me.
I will be back as soon as I can.

A nice modern hotel within an area full with olive trees. The rooms were spacious , well decorated with brand new bathrooms. However at our balcony we had a problem with bees being present all the time and we couldnt enjoy it. We complained to the reception about this, they sprayed once but the problem was not solved. I think is important to do something with that and dont charge the room 85 euros per night and practically with no balcony.
The breakfast has satisfactory variety and good quality with exceptional personnel to help and welcome you.

Hotel molto carino immerso nel verde a 10/15 min circa di macchina del centro di Zante, quindi perfetto per chi cerca un po’ tranquillità. Personale molto cortese, facilità di parcheggio all’interno della struttura. Colazione non troppo assortita soprattutto se si preferisce il dolce.
