the room was nice, clean and comfortable. the breakfast room has an interesting architecture
the light system in the rooms was confusing at first. nobody told us we had to use the card, but we got there in the end.
The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful, the room and the food was fab...would definitely return
Nothing
Liked the hotel ,nice room although the view was a wall .The staff were friendly.Bar was great ,food was excellent, best roast beef I’ve ever had.Good value for money.
The view
A good hotel with good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was OK but not up to same standards as most other places we stayed in. Breakfast better than the Bar meal we had the previous evening.
The staff.
Reception furniture
Staff at the reception provided quick services for phone call or in person requests.
Bed was comfy but not so clean.
Hotel looked great from outside.
Breakfast was bad, food overcooked or used frozen food to reheat and serve them. Lot of expired products and had to complain the staff multiple times to change them.
Room was unclean even after room service. Lots of dust and even found insects in the bed.
No water bottles/water provided in the rooms.
I had to request for toiletries as well.
The beds were uncomfortable.
Despite our late arrival after 11pm, the Staff were so welcoming and friendly.
They are so aware of special dietary requirements that it put my mind at ease.
Would highly recommend.
Great location, good atmosphere and beautiful restaurant for breakfast and very friendly staff.
Great staff, beds and breakfast. Location near Letterkenny and Derry near the major road (excellent isolation, as we didn't hear anything). It was a great 5 night stay!
Nothing
Delicious supper night before in the bar at surprisingly low price for Ireland. Followed by delicious breakfast the next morning in beautiful stone (old church) section of hotel with a Celtic exhibition on top floor. The staff are delightfully friendly. And finally, despite a wedding on the night we stayed, there wasn't a sound to be heard in my room. I chose the hotel based on reviews and they didn't lie. Will be returning at end of summer with two sisters when one visits from Canada.
What's not to like?
Unique visitor center museum (breakfast) restaurant.
Staff very friendly room very comfortable great stay as we visit at least once a month
Food staff just a great stay
Staff are very friendly
Bed was comfortable, and room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disappointed that the coffee in the rooms and at breakfast was not nice. Cheap instant coffee. Also the restaurant had run out of ribeye steaks at 6.30 on a Saturday night. But the alternative food we had was delicious.
