Splendour Hotel and Suites

Staff amazing
especially Jennifer ( Baby Bear ) made us feel very welcome & provided exceptional service
John the Chef was great too , he couldn’t do enough for us & has a tremendous passion for his food
Nickolas our sever , always smiled & was very attentive

Our Room with the pool was very nice , but wouldn’t stay in any other room there
Hotel in general was too far away from the Santorini we all love & see photos of
My suggestion is to stay on the Cliffs at Fira or Oia for a few nights , for the magical Sunsets , Restaurant's & Shopping
Then go & rest up at Splendor Resort & feel the LOVE ❤️

They claim this is a 5 star hotel, but I've stayed at nicer budget chain motels. They provided communal cheap soaps, no other toiletries. The drains are horrible and the putrid smell of poop is eye watering in the bathrooms. Keeping the bathroom door shut tight and your windows open is the only way you cam keep the room fresh enough to sleep.

The breakfast is fairly ok, if you get there right as it opened. If you dont get there in the first 30 minutes, good luck.

I spoke wirh other guests, all had the same complaint of the stink of the drains. Reception probably got tired of me begging for bleach for the drains. Others told me that their excuse is that they are winding down for the season. If you're open and accepting payments, and claim to be 5 stars (out of 15?) Then you need to step it up and provide what the guests are paying for.

Will not return to that property.

Spend the $ on the pool suites, it’s worth it.

The staff were less friendly at first but warmed up throughout the visit and were very helpful in booking activities for us. The rooms were fantastic, big and bright. Pool got very very busy by 10:15 am there is nowhere to sit

This hotel was amazing. They took great care of us on our stay. They were so polite and the facility was great. I will definitely stay here again the next time I go to Santorini.

It was in a good area. It does not face the Caldera though. It was walking distance to Firostefani and there were places to eat all around it. The pool was always busy so if you want a spot by it get there early!

Spacious clean room, staff was friendly and upgraded us to a room with a pool.

Excellent stay. Rooms are very spacious,and we were upgraded to the superior room as we were celebrating my husband's birthday, which is absolutely incredible. Yanis in reception is lovely and extremely helpful. Also the breakfast is absolutely fantastic, with so much variety, even for vegetarians like us. Would definetely recommend this place.

It was all great

From the moment we arrived till we departed, it was an awesome experience. The staff was soo friendly and welcoming. Its a shame I can’t remember their names as there was two members who really stood out. Customer service has absolutely no fault. We stayed in the standard sea view room. The room was very spacious.

You must be prepared to climb stairs depending on the room you are staying at.

The location is really good.
Literally about 10 minutes walk from Fira and about 15-20 minutes from Oia via transport.

Beautiful restaurants nearby.

The breakfast is decent. I’m guess they didn’t do room service due to covid.

One thing I would like is to have mushrooms on more days lol

Very clean

Beautiful, neatly decorated, comfortable, and clean suite. Alexandra at the office was very helpful and friendly. Dorrissa in the dining hall was extremely hospitable, friendly, and made us all feel comfortable. Chef Mehmud made remarkable and delicious entrees. Very enjoyable stay.

We friendly Front Office and House Keeping

The location is conveniently located within 15 min walk from Fira historical center. The property is resort-style and very clean. Staff is friendly. We think breakfast selection and organization could use some improvement, especially since this resort is positioning itself as a 4-star hotel. Personnel was understaffed during breakfast rush hour and didn't get the time to clean the tables. Breakfast selections constantly ran out of essential items (eggs, veggies). We also couldn't find any yogurts.

Unable to properly review this property. Upon arriving to check in, we were told that they didn't have a room for us, so they needed to move us to a different property. This was frustrating, especially after traveling long distances. However, they provided a free taxi to the new property and the other property was amazing.

Nice ,clean ,good view, great spot and helpful staff

We actually were sent to another hotel the day we arrived im Santorini. But the staff at Splendour did a nice job by helping us stay at a great place right in the center if Thira. However, we did go to Splendour resort to check out the place and meet the staff. The rooms were beautiful, good size, and so clean. We will return next time we visit Santorini!
