Une très belles adresse.
Pros:

Emplacement top pour visiter le site de Palenque. Accueil et personnel très sympathique. Très joli cadre et beau jardin dans un environnement reposant. Les sanitaires sont régulièrement nettoyés dans la journée .

Très bien situé juste à côté de l’entrée du parc. Endroit joli avec cabanes et ruisseau. Chambre confortable et propre.

Prachtig resort gevoel
Pros:

Prachtig in de natuur gelegen park. Heerlijk mooi zwembad erbij. Je krijgt wel een resort gevoel bij hoe alles eruit ziet.
Aardig personeel en alles schoon en goed onderhouden. Fijn dat er een keuken is en filtered water.

Cons:

Wij hadden een cabin zonder eigen badkamer, geen ramen maar helemaal open met alleen muggengaas dus erg gehorig. Ik vind dan de prijs/ kwaliteit echt niet kloppen. Er is een restaurant maar hier zijn de prijzen erg hoog. Er zit dan ook bijna niemand. Zo jammer want dit doet veel met de sfeer. We hoorden dat de dorms ook weinig privicy boden en weinig ruimte. Toch is het aksnog de beste optie in de omgeving.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und man kann immer per WhatsApp schreiben. Es war alles sauber und es gab gratis Wasser und eine super Küche :) die Anlage ist richtig schön und großzügig in der Natur mit tollem Pool.

Cons:

Die Betten und die Kissen waren leider etwas unbequem und im Mehrbettzimmer konnte man einen Schrank leider nicht verschließen.

I would stay here again, its in the jungle
Pros:

I stayed in a cabaña with a private bath next to the creek for 4 nights. Three walls have windows to open and hear the birds, creek and howler monkeys. Kin Balam is in the jungle close (3km) to the entrance of the Palenque Ruins. Taking a colectivo (mini van) for 25 pesos is the easiest way to get to the entrance of the ruins but buy your tickets first right next to Kin Balam reception. There are many Colectivo's running up to the entrance and back. The cabins are spaced nicely apart for a more private yet community feel. The pool is nice. The office staff and housekeeping are wonderful. My king bed was very comfortable. There is a travel booth at the reception area is is great to work with to book tours. I heard howler monkeys from my room!

Cons:

The restaurant onsite is excellent (but review your receipt before paying) because sometimes a tip is added and sometimes its not. You won't need to travel far to have a good meal. You will not have a coffee maker or tea kettle in your room so plan to use the restaurant. There is a shared kitchen area with a stove and a sink and fridge but the refrigerator was overloaded with stuff. The internet doesn't work well. Unfortunately when I was trying to buy an ADO bus ticket the internet quit working several times. After 5 attempts I was able to buy the ticket. Better internet means more cell towers! I don't mind the poor internet connection to keep nature happy. Have a magical experience here.

An excellent choice close to archeological site
Pros:

Very close to the entrance to Palenque archaeological Park, lovely wooden walkways over rivers and streams in a tropical garden setting

Cons:

While it’s 25 pesos by Bus during the day, it can cost easily 100 pesos by taxi from the town to reach the cabanas at night

Nice rooms and great shower with hot water and good pressure. Nice and helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Cons:

The restaurant was a bit expensive and had no smoking area. The prices and selection and the vibe was much better in El Panchan/Don Muchos on the other side of the road. If the restaurant at Kim Balam was more like that more guests would hang out and eat there. But not sure if the restaurant is a part of Kim Balam?

The location just next to the park with ruins. Shared accommodation spaces: shared kitchen with water barrels, swimming pool and hammacks.

Cons:

There were stains on our bed linen, we asked cleaning staff to change it but they didn’t. There are not many options to have food nearby - the restaurant belonging to the accommodation was really bad - we had breakfast there and it was terrible. And - this is of course not accommodation’s fault - there was a spider huge as tarantula in ladies’ bathroom which scared the hell out of me. Just something to consider - after all, it is located in the forest.
