Villa Margarita

Difficult to summarise what we liked about our stay at Villa Margarita, as we loved every single aspect. On arrival it was amazing to have been allowed an early check-in with our flight landing in the morning. Then we were met by Alex who gave us an insightful introduction to the island of Mykonos, with a map to show us what areas we should head to for certain activities, including where had accessible parking.

When we got to our room/mini villa, we were very pleased to see that we had massive (and comfortable) bed, A/C, an iron/ironing board, ample wardrobe space, a safe with our own code, a mini fridge, and a clean bathroom.

The view from outside our room was incredible. We didn't get tired of looking out over Mykonos town and the iconic windmills down towards Little Venice. The location is excellent for anyone who doesn't mind walking down some stairs and then up a hill into the town in less than 15 minutes! The sunset over the (soon to be complete) pool was one of our favourite views.

Of an evening, I took great pleasure in seeing Nicolas to give my breakfast order which would be delivered to our front porch the next morning (with no extra charge for breakfast delivery), and to give him an update on our day and plans for the next. The staff would always check to see how we were enjoying our stay but not in a way that felt like they were intrusive or nosey. They were perhaps the friendliest hotel hosts we have ever encountered. They always gave recommendations for good food spots and beach locations, telling us where to go to avoid large crowds, and strong winds.

The breakfast had a great variety of options depending on what you fancied, from croissants with jam, omelettes, and yoghurt with muesli. They also had multiple juice options which were so refreshing whilst sitting on our porch as the sun came over the east facing hill behind this stunning hotel.

Posizione top , vicino al centro, raggiungibile a piedi , ma lontano dal caos.
Colazione molto variegata, portata in camera sulla veranda ogni mattina all ora che si desidera!

Very close to the beach, amazing views and access to a beautiful pool! Only a 10 minutes walk from city centre.

Nikos, Alex, and Margarita were all fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They were professional, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. We had arranged an airport transfer, which was punctual and very reasonably priced. Our room was spotless, with a stunning sea view, and just a short walk from both the town center and a nearby beach. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and delivered to our room each morning exactly on time. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of towels, helpful tips for exploring the island, and even parting gifts. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful stay.

Alex and his family are all extremely nice and welcoming, and were always happy to help and answer any of our questions. Our room was amazing, clean and tidy and plenty of room for two people.

A haven of peace just a short walk from the center. The place is beautiful, with a beautiful sea view. The hosts take good care of your stay.

Great Breakfast, fresh orange juice. Really excellent Scrambled eggs all served on the balcony. Nikos and Alex couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Very welcoming place.

Proprietari super cordiali, super disponibili, super accoglienti. La casetta molto bella e pulita e ordinata ogni giorno.
Si trova vicino al centro raggiungibile da una stradina un po’ in pendenza ma senza problemi fatta in scooter.
Al costo di 15€ è possibile organizzare il transfer da e per l aeroporto .
Colazione abbondante servita ogni mattina all’ora prescelta sul balconcino della camera.
Forniscono anche i teli mare ogni giorno puliti . Possibilità di comprare da bere o altro da mangiare . Il primo giorno regalano una bottiglia di acqua . La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato è dotata di cassaforte, ferro e asse da stiro , macchinetta nespresso, phon , bollitore , frigorifero .
Inoltre si può ammirare un meraviglioso tramonto ! Insomma quando torneremo a mykonos sicuramente soggiorneremo di nuovo qui . Grazie per tutto !

Super nett und hilfsbereit

De gastvrijheid, φιλοξενία is geweldig. Koffers worden naar de kamer gebracht. Een drankje dat je besteld, wordt gebracht. Veel uitleg over hoe naar de stad te komen, waar het goed eten is en hoe naar het strand te komen. Welk strand is geschikt et cetera. De huisjes zijn heel mooi gemaakt, heel compleet, goede bedden, met een keuken en Nespresso. Prachtig uitzicht over de zee.

We had such a fantastic time at this place! Excellent service, cute room, convenient transfers to and from the port. Highly recommend!

Nikos, Alejandro and Margarita are the kindest hosts ever. They are friendly, helpful and gentle; they truly make you feel that you are welcome to their home.
They are available almost the whole day. Nikos picked up from the airport and then Margarita dropped us at the port. Nikos helped us to plan our whole stay, advising which beach to go according to the wind, bus schedules, where to be careful about prices, quality affordable restaurants to eat, etc.

The views from Villa Margarita deserve a review themselves. They are breathtaking… one of the best and privileged views of the windmills, sea, and surroundings that you can probably find in Mykonos… Having the homemade breakfast a la carte delivered every morning in our terrace with the views from Villa Margarita was one of the highlights of our stay in Mykonos.

The apartments are very comfortable, with traditional construction, each one with their own privacy, allowing each guest to have their own space… details that make the whole difference. The cleaning is superb, with clean sheets and towels everyday.

Everything at Villa Margarita has a minimalist, simple, yet very chic style.

They are building a hill-side swimming pool in the front of the Villa, and we can only wait to come next summer to see it finished… it will be definitely magical.
The villa is walking distance to the town, and while Mykonos town center can be busy and noisy, villa Margarita has a peaceful surroundings.
Everything was made so easy for us by Nikos and his family that we lost the sense of time and got completely rested in just a few days.

We are definitely coming back!!!

And this is undoubtedly the best place ever to stay in Mykonos if you want to connect with this beautiful island and its people hospitality.

The location of the property is excellent – just a 10-minute walk from Mykonos Town, yet perfectly quiet and peaceful. It offers beautiful sea views, and the nearest beach is only about 500 meters away. The sunsets from here are simply breathtaking.

The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, always ready to share information about the island’s facilities, the best places to visit, where to eat, and what to explore. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to the day.

This property combines convenience, comfort, and a truly authentic Mykonos experience.

La colazione di Villa Margherita era molto abbondante e viene servita in camera, la posizione dell'hotel è veramente vicina al centro cittadino dove puoi recarti anche a piedi in meno di 10m. La vista che si gode è superlativa, guardi tutta la baia di Mykonos Town e praticamente sotto l'hotel hai una spiaggia bellissima di sabbia bianca e fine.
A tutto questo si aggiunge l'ospitalità, disponibilità e cortesia del proprietario Nikos che è andato ben oltre indicandoci e consigliandoci ristoranti e spiagge meno conosciute ma che sono dei veri angoli di paradiso!

ホテルの目の前の岩から見る夕陽もとても綺麗でした。
空港や港までの送迎はリーズナブルで安心です。
港まで送ってくれた後、どこから船に乗るかを教えてもらい、とても助かりました。
おかげで無事にサントリーニに移動できました！
