Tutto meraviglioso: dall’accoglienza cordiale al saluto con le ragazze che lavoravano come cameriere. Vi hanno fatto l’upgrade, credo come regalo per il mio compleanno, mi hanno fatto trovare un sacco di pensierini e sono stati tutti dolcissimi con noi. Essendo celiaca avevo richiesto pasti senza glutine e tutti gli chef si sono dedicati a me e alla spiegazione delle pietanze, a volte rifacendomele appositamente SG. Lo chef Paul è stato gentilissimo nel lasciarmi portare per il viaggio uno dei suoi dolcetti. Tutto il personale è stato professionale ed amichevole. Grazie ad Issa che ha riempito il nostro soggiorno di chiacchiere e sorrisi ❤️

Emplacement, service, gentillesse, nourriture

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa for 5 unforgettable nights celebrating our honeymoon, and every moment was beyond exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service, hospitality, and atmosphere exceeded all expectations.
The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive – always ready with a smile and eager to help with anything we needed. It truly felt like they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Special thank you to Sachith (manager) his professionalism and attention was out of this world! Thank you so much! Athuman for making sure we had one of the best nights in our live having dinner at the beach with an amazing setting to celebrate our marriage! Salim for being there always for us… you were amazing!! Ally the gardener for his special attetion. Francesca, Fadhila, Issa, Nancy, Richard, Wasa, Machimu… thank you so much for your attention and for everything you do!
Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning views and thoughtful touches throughout. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient, making sure everything was spotless without ever intruding.
The beach is out of this world – soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and plenty of loungers and shade. The pool area was equally amazing – peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfect for relaxing.
Food-wise, we were blown away. From the generous and varied breakfast buffet to the exquisite à la carte dinners, every meal was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The themed dinners and live entertainment added a wonderful touch to our evenings.
The spa is also not to be missed – a tranquil oasis with professional therapists who made us feel completely relaxed and pampered. We had a couple deep muscle massage which were amazing!
All in all, this was an unforgettable experience.

Die Lage (mit Bilderbuch-Sonnenuntergang), das Essen die Ausflugsoptionen, das nahe Dorfleben und v.a. die Betreuung. Das Personal ist effizient und ausserordentlich freundlich um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt. Man wird aufgenommen, als wäre man Familie! Auch das Hotelmanagement engagiert sich als aufmerksamer Gastgeber.

Our stay at Gold Zanzibar was nothing short of spectacular. As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted and made to feel at home. In celebration of our honeymoon we were upgraded to a beautiful villa with private pool and butler service - very comfortable and clean accommodation. The amenities including pool, spa, beach and bars were all fantastic. We were also amazed by the food, with so many options and the quality was remarkable, all very fresh, the best pasta we’ve had outside of Italy, great local cuisine too. But what stood out the most was the absolutely amazing service. Every single member of hotel staff went above and beyond to greet us at every opportunity, make us feel at home, offer us anything we could wish for and just engage in conversation; they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us. We are fortunate to stay at nice hotels around the world and the staff and service at Gold stand out as the very best we have ever experienced and by a very long way. We enjoyed complimentary sunset cruise on our final night for which we are very grateful. The occasional complimentary food and drink with bills showing ‘zero’ against each item, also a very generous touch. I would not hesitate to recommend Gold to anyone looking for accommodation in Zanzibar - furthermore, I would even encourage people to stay at Gold simply to see how the very best of hotels can and should be.
