Pros:

Quiet location but within easy reach of the city. While property is clean and staff only to willing to be of assistance the room could have done with some attention. WiFi access can be a little limited outside the lobby/restaurant

Nice on surface but…
Pros:

The reception was very good, but the room, while very large, was shabby. Both desk chars were broken - one with completely broken legs. Bathroom features were worn and hot water was not working. Using a computer desk was awful. Not helpful for business stays.
Noted many refurbishments being done.

Pros:

Room was ok, bed was rock hard and the bathroom looked like it was still under construction. Only amenity provided was a small single bar of soap, the toilet was jammed in a corner making it difficult to even access, and tv struggled to even show a movie.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel but needs so much more to be considered 3 stars. Atmosphere is great, pool wonderful, rooms are spacious.
Sundries are severely lacking, beds are uncomfortable, and food quality is below average. Its a little ways away from the markets and shops but its quiet and relaxing.

I was supposed to stay here, but didn't it make it due to my flight. However, the hotel still charged me - but nearly triple the agreed to price. Be very careful with this hotel to avoid being defrauded

Excellent staff, subpar WiFi
Pros:

Hotel staff and manager are amazing. Hotel and room were clean. Several light bulbs were out in my room and the refrigerator did not work. Restaurant was excellent. WiFi was not good at all, very slow when it was working.

Clean, but a word of caution
Pros:

This location is a private area up on the hills, so to get into downtown Mwanza is a bit of a drive, and there's not much around for shops or services. The hotel was clean, but the pool area was quite noisy until the evening. There is air conditioning but it didn't seem to cool the room very much. I also had an issue with the hotel not having been advised of my booking, so upon checking out they attempted to have me pay again. I ended up phoning hotels.com staff to help resolve the situation, so a great kudos to them for supporting their customers! The hotel has a shuttle available for a surcharge which took me to the airport and breakfast was pretty good with some fruits, meat products, and they can prepare eggs for you as well. The food available at the restaurant is pretty good, but like many Tanzanian restaurants be prepared to wait.
