Beautiful , restful place to stay in the Douro Valley. Everything was wonderful , 10/10. The staff was friendly, kind and made us feel like family. Victor was exceptional.

We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta Nova.

What stayed with me most was the stillness and sense of peace that seems to live naturally in the Douro Valley. Sitting on the terrace with the vineyards unfolding below us felt like stepping outside of time.

Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, with robes, slippers, straw hats for walking the property, and even a blanket to wrap up in outside. The food throughout our stay was exceptional, and the breakfasts in particular were memorable.

We especially enjoyed the winery tour. Marta explained that the elegant curved fermentation tanks were designed to mirror the shape of the vineyard terraces as seen from the river below—an extraordinary detail that perfectly connects the building to the landscape.

Most importantly, the service was outstanding. We would especially like to thank Victor and Rafael for their warmth and kindness. Victor even brought us a traditional pumpkin-filled sweet for the road when we departed, a gesture we will not forget.

Quinta Nova was one of the highlights of our time in Portugal, and a place we would return to without hesitation.

Quinta Nova Winery House provided the long-awaited rest we truly needed. Beyond the breathtaking, indescribable views, the service and comfort were exceptional. I must highlight the attentiveness of the entire staff, as well as the superb dining and breakfast experiences. It is, without a doubt, a place we want to return to — the perfect spot to recharge and reconnect.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Quinta Nova in September. We enjoyed everything that they had to offer. The property is fabulous and offers amazing views. Our room was comfy with a beautiful bathroom and loved the access to the outdoor terrace. The pool was also great! And we loved the patio. A great place to relax on their very comfortable lounge beds and enjoy the spectacular view. Our dinner at Terracu’s was INCREDIBLE and we enjoyed delicious wines with our meal. Our breakfast was also amazing. They have an excellent buffet and offer additional menu items that are prepared in the kitchen. By surprise, We were invited by the winemaker to stomp grapes. It was such a great experience and we had a blast dancing around to traditional Portuguese music. What really makes Quinta Nova a great property to visit is mainly because of their superior Staff! They were all very caring, attentive and wonderful people who took such great care of us. Looking forward to seeing them again next year!

O pequeno-almoço foi excelente, a sala muito confortável e muito bem decorada.

Pequeno almoço de muita qualidade. Serviço de carta com pratos bem confeccionados, bem apresentados e muitíssimo saborosos. Particular nota pelo cuidado no não desperdício de alimentos. Bravo!

An exceptionally beautiful Quinta and location. The staff were all welcoming and highly professional. The wine tasting, tour, breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Fabulous experience! Definitely want to return again soon!

Lugar belíssimo, posição privilegiada, calma e intima no coração do Douro vinhateiro.
A casa e os espaços são muito acolhedores, bem decorados e de bom gosto. O pessoal é amável e sempre disponível.
Restaurante excelente, vinhos requintados e ambiente cosy.
Um percurso pedonal de quase 5km pelas vinhas da Quinta permite familiarização com as plantações em socalcos e vistas deslumbrantes do Vale do Douro.
Experiência muito relaxante e agradável.

The staff was very kind and thoughtful!! The food of the restaurant was amazing!
The breakfast was also incredible to start the day and enjoy the incredible views!
