Nashera Hotel

It's surrounded by nature and the grounds are vast.
I felt very relaxed.

I love this hotel and have stayed many times. However, something has happened in the past year. The facility looks like it has had water damage and smells of smoke throughout. My clothes and luggage all smelled like smoke upon departure. The bathroom cabinets stay wide open, and the room door drags on the floor and required a ton of force to open every time.

However, service is AMAZING. The staff are so warm and welcoming and do their best to meet every need. The food service is slow (typical of the region), but they try very hard to make it a great experience. We hosted a large meal and were VERY pleased with the food and presentation.

The rest of the property just looks like it is aging very quickly and needs to TLC!

I like Sashara hotel best among Morogoro state because of looking at a beautiful wide garden and mountain scenery from the room windows. Room is wider than normal hotel. You can choose garden a view room or a mountain view room.

The rooms are too expensive for the quality of the property and the services offered. The hotel is located in a nice and safe neighborhood - jogging and walking friendly. However, the staff need to be trained to serve customers better. We booked a twin room and were told the hotel was fully booked upon arrival. They suggested moving us to a different hotel that was a third of their room prices but they didn't want to give back the balance. It took 3 hours to come to the sensible solution - thanks to the property manager who walked in and found us going back and forth with the reception staff. Things just started off on a bad foot and we wished we canceled our stay and moved to another hotel. I left knowing that I would not be coming to this property again unless they change their prices to reflect the substandard quality and service that a customer should expect.

This is not my first time to stay at Nashera, and in fact I came back because of my past experience. I was not disappointed. the staff are attentive, the food is good, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

Best hotel in town. My room had a balcony and a great view of the mountains. The hotel is a large corporate-type hotel well run but not great.

I have stayed at this hotel for weeks at a time over 5 years while in Morogoro on business and give it my highest recommendation. The rooms are large, comfortable mattress, great A/C, good internet and reliable backup diesel electric generator (most important). The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and we became friends over time. The kitchen puts out good food, never any gastro issues in all my stays, and the beer is cold! This is the only practical place to stay in Morogoro. Beautiful grounds and views of the Uluguru mountains. Ask for room with odd number to face the mountains and away from the pool side where on weekends music can keep you awake till late.

Nice staff, decent rooms, quiet, good restaurant and bar. It's a bit old, but it's probably the best hotel around.

This is the best hotel in town. The service is good, and it is in a great location. All the rooms are extremely spacious.

This is the best stay option in Morogoro town. It is a value for money on offer, though parts of it need some upgrade, but overall comfortable stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Nashera Hotel. For the price, the rooms were fantastic and very clean! The location is amazing, and it's a perfect escape for those traveling on business like myself.

Great Hotel, in a quite neighbourhood! The staff are great and generally a pleasant place for a business traveller or on holiday.

Stayed 2 weeks on business, ate exclusively at the hotel. A varied menu, well prepared.
