Access to the hotel through the pedestrian zone is permitted at any time. You will receive a parking permit upon check-in. One parking space is available per room (3:00 PM – 11:00 AM). Please note: The gate to the courtyard is closed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parking spaces within the town are reserved exclusively for residents.

Pets
Dogs are welcome for a fee of €20.00 per night. They are not permitted in the monastery garden or breakfast area.

Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Hotel preciós i còmode en un entron inmillorable amb un esmorzar excel.lent.
Pros:

L`Hotel situat en una antiga abadia és molt bonic i agradable. L´habitació era molt gran i els llits molt còmodes. L´aire acondicionat ens va anar molt bé perque passavem una onada de calor important. Un gran punt és la piscina que ens va ajudar molt a relaxar-nos i refrescar-nos en un dia de molta calor.
L´esmorzar excel.lent.
Si tornem per la zona m´agradaria repetir.

Great location in stunning setting, but spoilt by lack of sleep and misleading information.

Noisy air conditioning, lack of decent curtains to allow you to sleep beyond 5am.
The biggest insult was that the terrace and restaurant was not open for 2 or the 3 night stay. Extremely poor information given on booking.con.

Memorable Richard Löwenherz Hotel in Dürnstein
Pros:

Our stay the weekend of the Summer Solstice at the Richard Löwenherz in Dürnstein was truly memorable. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of town convenient to get to our ship for an evening on the river and the spectacular bonfires and fireworks. Our room was large and comfortable and overlooked the hotel‘s park in the back - very relaxing after an eventful day. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and very good. The staff is excellent.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön.
Pros:

Die Lage, der wunderschöne Garten, der tolle Pool und eine gut einstellbare Klimaanlage.
Das Restaurant oberhalb der Donau und die zuvorkommende und freundliche Dame im Service, gebürtig aus Norddeutschland.

Der Ort, die Stadt, die Aussicht, die Atmosphäre, die Lage. Das Interieur, die Stimmung. Man merkt, dass die Familie, der dieses Haus gehört, es liebt. Fantastisches Frühstück, herrlicher Park. Es gibt Parkplätze, was mich allerdings überrascht hat.

Cons:

Eine Reinigungskraft wollte heute Morgen nach uns sehen, aber das war unsere Schuld, weil wir keine Nachricht angebracht hatten. Mir gefiel die Badezimmertür gegenüber dem Bett nicht. Die Matratzen waren unbequem (ich hatte heute Morgen Rückenschmerzen). Höchstwahrscheinlich lief die Pumpe der Klimaanlage, pumpte Wasser ab und machte dabei Geräusche. Da es ein sehr heißer Tag war (42 °C), war es ohne Klimaanlage (Zimmer 14) leider sehr unangenehm.

The hotels character/ambience was very nice. Sitting in the historic area right on the the river. Wonderful garden and swimming pool! Breakfast with some of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Europe!
