Access to the hotel through the pedestrian zone is permitted at any time. You will receive a parking permit upon check-in. One parking space is available per room (3:00 PM – 11:00 AM). Please note: The gate to the courtyard is closed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parking spaces within the town are reserved exclusively for residents.

Pets
Dogs are welcome for a fee of €20.00 per night. They are not permitted in the monastery garden or breakfast area.

köstliches Frühstück, nettes Personal, tolle Lage, wunderschöner Klostergarten inkl. großen Pool.

Cons:

Dass es sich um ein historisches Gebäude handelt, muss einem bewusst sein und trägt auch sehr zum Charme des Hotels bei, aber man muss auch ehrlich sagen, dass die Zimmereinrichtung sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist und wenig Komfort bietet (beginnend bei den Betten...). Leider war es jedoch stickig und heiß im Zimmer (keine Klimaanlage) und die Böden haben sehr geknarzt - daher war es für uns als Familie mit kleinem Baby nicht sehr geeignet.

Good enough
Pros:

The hotel was wonderful and its garden was lovely. Walking distance to the castle ruins. Staff were friendly. The excellent breakfast was probably the highlight. Room is spacious but just fine.

Cons:

The room had a bathrobe but no bedroom slippers. I believe there wasn't a phone either. Price is also quite steep.

schitterende locatie, heerlijke sfeer, groot zwembad, heel vriendelijk personeel en goed advies voor de ruhetag. Een ontbijt om voor altijd te onthouden. Wij komen weer graag terug.

You won't find a more special place to stay!
Pros:

Durnstein is a spectacular place to visit and staying here is super special. It's right next to the blue steeple so I looks beautiful day and night. The patio is stunning, also day and night, the food is fantastic, and the service in the restaurant is wonderful.
