The pool and waterslide were great! My boys spend hours swimming. Location was perfect for what we needed. It was close and accessible to most things we wanted to do/see in Winnipeg.
We had a 4 day stay and our beds weren't even made once and I needed to talk to the front desk in order to get dirty towels removed and the garbage taken out.
The property was nice and close to my sons place. It was also clean
Clean, real good location
We had so much fun with the pool and slides.
There is always room for improvement at their restaurant adjacent to the hotel. There were 3 servers but we had to wait to get the food for quiet awhile then not even one cameby to see what else do we need. It's understandable that it's a busy breakfast hours but they need to put more muscles into it. Also, the tomatoes from the breakfast menus had rotten pieces and there is also a stand of hair from the plate. We just had to fish it out. It's bad but there is no harm done. Therefore it's 9/10.
I liked the waterside for my granddaughter when she came for a visit. This visit was to take care of an elderly parent and financial/housing issues. I booked for a week and it was an alright stay. Liked the fact that The Tavern and Playmakers were available inside the hotel.
The breakfast her is actually amazing!!! Like outta this world good. Highly recommend coming here. We paid $5.99 for breakfasts bacon ( ham or sausage) 2 eggs, hash browns (the best btw) and toast or pancakes)😋
Gotta try it. Daily.
I was a little perturbed that the buffet was not nightly and had to find dinner elsewhere.
On another note, I did have to report a few people to front desk for harassment one evening. A little annoying, but I guess that's just what happens now.
Housekeeping was a little scattered as in we had to ask for things. The tub was clogged with (what I found out was hair in the last few days), and little gross, and the first night we had checked in from traveling the whole day (a lot of flight cancelations etc coming from Vancouver Island) we specifically asked for a very quiet end of the hotel, no noise or as little as possible. It was definitely the noisy end. So yeah, could have been a much better visit I believe, for the money the stay cost me.
