The room rates are cheaper on weekdays, but much more expensive on Saturdays, possibly due to events happening in Taipei. We really like the rooms and design on the 5th floor, while the rooms on the 10th floor are smaller. The room was clean.
For this trip, we visited Jiufen and Shifen, and thankfully the front desk staff SACHI helped us plan the transportation route.
The sound insulation is not very good, so it can be noisy if there are families with children in the neighboring rooms. The bed is very comfortable. The lobby offers coffee and also has a bar. They provide convenient shuttle service to Taoyuan Airport at an affordable price. The front desk staff sachi is friendly and helpful, and even assisted with restaurant reservations. It’s very convenient that the front desk can assist with ordering souvenirs. We have already booked a room and will stay here again next time.
The housekeeping aunties were really friendly and helpful. The front desk staff lacks warm welcome and were a little cold. The location is superb.
Room sound-proofing was bad. It gets really loud at night and hard to sleep. The laundry is helpful but instructions were a little lacking.

Great location, nice private room, comfortable bed. Got 2 bottles of water every day which was handy. Enjoyed walking out every day and being in the middle of the action. Great choice to stay in Taipei
Noise from other rooms was very jarring, especially when someone was showering it sounded like a big truck was right in my room. It confused me when I was jet lagged and trying to sleep. Also some small bugs in the room but harmless.
I stayed here last year and liked the room design it was simple and clean. The front desk staff sachi was polite and very welcoming. I would suggest adding some decorations to the lobby. We would definitely stay here again next time.
