Such a tremendous group of people work here. All so very nice and accommodating!

From the moment that we walked in the door, we were made to feel 'special". Our car was whisked away, a glass of wine appeared to hand, nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, beautifully decorated, and a delight to live in. The location was excellent, with many good restaurants and eating houses within a short walk. I am really finding it hard to spot anything that could be improved. It was a delight to stay in. this hotel. One thing to mention. There is an AI active mural on the wall of the ground floor. It is one of the most arresting, and delightful pieces of art that I have ever seen. Whoever decided to give this mural space in the hotel deserves congratulations. Truly Beautiful.

Andaz, is a beautiful hotel that makes you feel like you are in Amsterdam. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and taken care. Everyone of the staff members are attentive and they all seem to make sure that you are there to have a great time. It is very clean, and service is fast and not rushed. Everyone is very helpful and kind. The location is excellent.

This was a really unique property in Amsterdam located on a canal. We did walk by it in our first attempt to find! Easy access to tram and great location to walk and explore. Staff was extremely helpful before and during our trip. Rooms are well laid out, very private, incredible high ceilings with windows that open. Gym was small but useful and open 24/7. Ambiance was terrific. Loved the bathrooom wallpaper that was fun and informative.

The hotel and the facilities were definitely luxurious and exceptional. The location is perfect, close to the central , shopping, and main attractions. The staff were very good and courteous.
The reception staff had a bit of understanding issues , probably because of the language or accent, but not a major issue.

The room was perfect with the canal view . The room was very clean and was cleaned twice a day, and the beverages and water bottles were replinshed without any extra charges.

We felt welcomed at Andaz Hotel. We don't have any hesitation in recommending Andaz to future guests.

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, the experience was outstanding. The bellman was immediately at our car helping with our luggage, which was such a welcome relief after I had spent nearly five stressful hours at the airport hoping my missing bag would arrive before my 12-day vacation.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my room was ready upon arrival, allowing me to settle in and relax much sooner than expected. Even better, the complimentary minibar was included—a wonderful and unexpected treat after a long day of travel.

The room itself was beautifully designed, stylish, and uniquely Amsterdam. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The bed and sheets were absolutely amazing—some of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel—and I slept incredibly well.

The combination of warm service, thoughtful amenities, and luxurious comfort made this a truly memorable stay. I loved my time at Andaz Amsterdam and would gladly return on my next visit to the city. Highly recommended!

One of the best Andaz hotels I have stayed at. The hotel location is very central and fantastic. Every aspect of the hotel from the lobby to the rooms have been done very artistically and provides a sense of calm. Its a smaller hotel but very well managed.

We chose the Andaz Amsterdam to celebrate our 11-year wedding anniversary, a detail I communicated to the hotel ahead of arrival. The Andaz brand is built on the promise of personalized, locally inspired hospitality — which made the check-in experience all the more disappointing.
The front desk associate was cold, avoided eye contact, and worked through what felt like a rote script while focused on her screen. No mention of Hyatt Globalist benefits, no offer of late checkout, and no acknowledgment of the anniversary. As a Globalist member, I don't expect a suite to materialize out of thin air — but being passed over for even a canal or city view room, without so much as an explanation, felt like a dismissal. The Andaz sits on the Prinsengracht for a reason. That view is part of what you're paying for.

The bright spot was the gentleman who assisted with our bags. He was everything the front desk wasn't — warm, engaging, and knowledgeable. He walked us through Globalist perks including breakfast and the gin tasting unprompted. He embodied what an Andaz stay is supposed to feel like. Breakfast was pretty good and lived up to the hotel's reputation. The room was clean, spacious, and had a complimentary mini bar that was stocked each day with soda, beer, and wine.

But when a brand charges a premium on the promise of soulful, personal service, and you arrive for an anniversary only to be processed like a check box, it's hard to shake. The Andaz concept deserves better execution at the front desk.

For management of the hotel to look things to, I checked in late afternoon on 6/2.

Comfortable hotel with a funky, "Alice in Amsterdam" vibe nestled on the Prinsengracht and within a 10-20 minute walk of most of the top sights in Amsterdam. Rooms are comfortable and the service is top notch. Great breakfast service in the morning and a complementary Gin tasting in the evening with a short lesson on Dutch Gin history.
