Everything! The food, the staff, the amenities, being able to use the Sauna for free when i worked out, the 24 hour Gym availability, the comfortable beds and the location was exceptional! I hope to stay here again soon!
Nothing! Everything was perfect!
We loved almost everything about our stay at the Andaz. It is located on a pretty canal in a quiet neighborhood, but restaurants are close by and it is with walking distance of the entire city. The staff is lovely, beds comfortable, breakfast so good and it has fun art everywhere. I only took one star away because of the room layout. I’m ok with the sinks in the main area, but it was hard with a stand alone shower. We shared a room with our son and there was little privacy getting in and out. We had to be creative. Despite this I recommend the hotel.

Great hotel , great service , perfect location
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for walking the cute streets, canals and also visiting tourist sites such as the Anne Frank House, the museum district and Vandal Park. The staff was wonderful and the hotel bar had a great ambiance looking right out onto the canal. I'm a hotel snob who has high expectations. Andaz met them all!
Very nice hotel, the decor & the atmosphere was very interesting, enjoyable and different. I went with my family and we all felt that it exceeded our expectation. The hotel was clean along with the rooms. All the staff was pleasant & knowledgeable. It was our first visit to Amsterdam & we would definitely stay at this hotel again. We would refer others to stay there. The only thing I would have liked, would have been being able to visit my family in there rooms but the keys only work for your room floor. Great Hotel
After my fifth day at the end as Prince and Grott, I believe this will be my last. It all started with the sour woman at check-inwho didn’t even say hello or welcome. Any guest should get a most basic greeting and some type of warm sense of welcoming. As a globalist, I was even more shocked. The hotel and the design is impeccable and even after 10 years, the quality of the materials and the condition of the rooms are top notch. ButI am very tired of the bathroom being in the bedroom and as others have said being 2 feet away from the sink there are so many more options in Amsterdam now. They have reconfigured the lobby and the restaurant and it just doesn’t flow anymore. They ruined the original design thinking that their bar lobby space more important than their guest comfort and it shows additionally, the breakfast is not what it used to be and the staff are subpar for $800 a night for a room. This is not acceptable.
Beautiful hotel conveniently located to major attractions. About a 20 minute walk to Rijks Museum and Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Funky hotel vibe is very inviting. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Staff is very attentive as would be expected at a property of this expense.
