The hotel is undeniably charming, with a gorgeous garden and a prime location right in the city center.
I booked the ultimate suite hoping for a restful stay after a long trip, but unfortunately, the room's cleanliness fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, I noticed spider webs above the bed and visible dust under the furniture and behind the TV. I reported this to the front desk and shared photos via WhatsApp as requested, but received no follow-up or assistance.
On the bright side, the bathtub was a highlight perfect for a relaxing soak. Breakfast, however, was underwhelming. The buffet offered limited hot options, and on my final morning, I arrived ten minutes before closing only to find the doors already shut. Staff kindly offered coffee and scrambled eggs, but the food was lukewarm and clearly from earlier service.
Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its location and ambiance, but attention to cleanliness and guest service needs improvement to truly deliver a premium experience.
This is an attractive older hotel. The gardens are nice. The included breakfast was ok. Our room was large with wood floors and doors. We were cold and could not find temperature controls. The bathroom is small and lacks sufficient lighting or any storage.
Looked beautiful but the rooms were very dated. The breakfast was poor - the food wasn’t fresh. The noise insulation was dreadful, we could hear every movement from rooms above. Needs work.
Sehr schöne Anlage und Zimmer.
Überdurchschnittliches Frühstück.
Sehr freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal.
Die Zimmer zur Straße hin sind etwas laut, leider... Also besser nachfragen!
Pros: The gardens are beautiful, and the room was cute. The staff member who checked us in was helpful. The pillows and bed were reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was decent and offered an adequate selection.
Cons: The heater in our room was a portable space heater, and it didn't work properly, so the room was very cold. In the other room, our family had, there was a wall heater, and it seemed to do a better job. Both rooms had NO hot water, not even lukewarm. The lobby sign indicated that the restaurant offered dinner service, but when we entered, we were told that they were not open for dinner. The location is noisy with lots of traffic and barking dogs, so bring earplugs or use a white noise app.
With the beautiful view and the gorgeous grounds, this place has a ton of potential, but a few key upgrades are needed. If you do choose to stay here, the restaurant, Native, is a 5-6 minute walk, and we found excellent food and service there.
Very quaint , large rooms, nice staff, clean, gorgeous gardens, game room, nice reception area. very accommodating.
Restaurant had a lovely dinner and a nice generous breakfast
we took a tuk tuk right outside to the local square for lunch.
The hotel itself is beautiful and very charming however the area its in is very remote with nothing around. The beds were rock hard, impossible to get a good night sleep in. The restaurant was just ok, but there is no other options for meals. Breakfast was good enough.
Pros: lovely grounds, friendly staff, walking distance to several restaurants.
Cons: very loud at night. Our room was near the front of the hotel so we heard street noise all night along with dogs that barked all night.
Our bed mattress was as hard as a rock. This combined with the noise made for two nights of poor sleep.
Remote, relaxing, restful, and rustic. Loved it here. The rooms had everything we needed for a couple of days to acclimatize to the sacred valley. If we needed anything we just asked and we had it. I loved the location and the quietness of this place. The views were lovely. Breakfast was wonderful as well as dinner. Fresh food cooked when needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Extra blankets were available as it was cold but we expected that with the location. Great family time.
-Room was spacious.
-Front desk staff friendly
-Hot Water
-Restaurant ordering was slow
-Restaurant staff overwhelmed
-Food just “okay.”
Clean ,service was good
The hotel is set up as small clusters of buildings making it feel like you are in a village. The place is charming, well maintained garden with benches to relax. The customer service is top notch. The rooms are quite comfortable. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay in Urubamba
Our family stayed at this place for 2 nights. We all love this place. Rooms are clean, staffs are so friendly and helpful. it is at a very convenient location too. I would highly recommend other to come
Nice, large room, large bathtub with plenty of hot water. Easy walk into town and the excellent restaurant El Huacatay in easy walking distance. Aging buildings, but nice wood floors. Noise from upper floor for rooms on ground floor as well as road noise. Some electrical outlets were so used that plugs didn't stay in. Small grocery shops less than 100m away. Good choice for Sacred Valley. Our day trip to Machu Picchu left early, so they started breakfast earlier for us. No mini fridge
Very cuite hotel. I am very happy to be on that hotel. Very tasty breakfasts.
Environment is very beautiful.
The service of hotel is very good.
I hope next time i will come again back.
Very kind personal.
It’s great hotel with beautiful gardens and a nice pool. Great location, easy to find and very accessible right off the main highway. Very much enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to all travellers.
The place was very beautiful since has a lot of green area and was very confortable.
We find the room clean and we are satisfied.
The breakfast was quite good, even if offer a small choise of sweet dishes.
However we are satisfied even if unfortunately we stayed only one night
Outstanding landscape. It appeared to replicate a gated community.
Breakfast was below average, and cable T.V. did not offer any English-speaking stations.
