Fairfield Inn and Suites Chicago Downtown-River North

Fairfield Inn Chicago River North is a fantastic place to stay. It’s in a perfect location to walk to attractions and to get to the subway. The front desk agents were very friendly and helpful. Fannie and Javier were phenomenal hosts for the breakfast service. They made sure everyone had what they needed, and were full of helpful information about how to get around the city. Highly recommend staying here!

Just completed a 3-night stay at this hotel as we came into town to see the Cubs play the Mets.

Best Pro: Javier and Fannie at the complimentry breakfast. They did an EXCELLENT job at greeting everyone when they walked in, keeping food well stocked, keeping the counter clean, and cleaning up the tables quickly. In addition, they came by to ask if we needed anything. I have stayed at many similiar hotels with this offering, they are the two best. Give them a raise!

Pros: Convenient to transit to get to Wrigley, very friendly front desk staff that greated us leaving and entering the hotel and provied various recommendations, great location near so many food choices and a really nice part of town, and clean rooms.

Cons: Across the street from a fire station and when they rolled out one night at 3 am, we were up for a while. But, I am a light sleeper.

All in all, a good decison to stay here and would again.

Location is very good and staff is very polite, but the price for this hotel with it’s convenience very high.

This hotel was nice and clean and well priced. Literally the ONLY issue was that it was right across from the fire station, so I was affected as a light sleeper (the family was overall fine). The breakfast attendants were the nicest I've ever encountered, and housekeeping was fantastic. Front desk attendants were very friendly too. Room was big for a city location, with queen beds, and the front lobby had lots of space to sit.
The location was otherwise very convenient to the loop and the Mag mile in Chicago, and we were able to walk everywhere, and could've easily taken the El had we needed to venture out further. Breakfast was good, although I would appreciate more granola toppings and daily bananas. The parking ($60/night, doubt we could've done better) was about a block away.

Comfortable and location

This is always a solid choice when we stay downtown. The location is great and the rooms clean and comfortable. The availability of a white noise machine and earplugs is a nice touch in a noisy city center. We appreciated having decent counter space and ample towel bars/hooks in the bathroom. Not being fans of shower gels, we also appreciated the availability of bar soap. The water pressure could be better and housekeeping needs to be more aware of bathroom supplies as both our Kleenex box and the body lotion bottle were empty. Breakfast was fine – the usual fare – and Javier was wonderful – friendly and attentive. We’ll be back.

Localização muito boa, se consegue fazer muitas coisas a pé, tamanho do quarto e do banheiro.

Super lokalizacja, blisko do metra, autobusów. Bardzo pomocna obsługa (poprosiłam o przedłużacz i pan technik pojawił się po chwili, pokój sprzątany każdego dnia i pr,emiła obsługa przy śniadaniu). Po wymeldowaniu, mogliśmy zostawić bagaże na recepcji i jeszcze pozwiedzać miasto przed wieczornym odlotem.
