Hotel Casa San Agustin

We had a truly delightful stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional throughout, and the staff were consistently courteous, professional, and attentive. The reception team, in particular, were remarkably helpful and ensured that everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out.

The restaurant and bar were equally impressive — the food was excellent, the cocktails superb, and the atmosphere both elegant and welcoming. The location is also ideal: conveniently close to everything, yet peaceful and comfortable.

We had the loveliest stay at Casa San Agustin! I truly cannot recommend it enough. The service was attentive without being overwhelming, the property was beautiful and relaxing, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, and the breakfast was a delicious way to start our day each morning. If you order in-room dining, I highly recommend the banana bread. We also got to enjoy Acasi Rustic Beach and had a beautiful time there as well. It is certainly rustic but you are given every comfort to enjoy your time, including tasty cocktails and incredibly fresh fish. We adored our time at Casa San Agustin and are grateful to the staff for making our trip so special.

If you are planning a trip to Cartagena Columbia I hope you select Hotel Casa San Augustin. This gem of a hotel feels more like a private residence within the walled city. Service - excellent; Rooms large and lovely and resturant and bar top notch. All centrally located to all your vacation needs. The best !!

We had the most incredible stay at Casa San Agustin. From the impeccable service to the thoughtful, personalized touches throughout our visit, every detail was handled with care. The turndown service was such a special touch, and the pool and architecture of the property are absolutely stunning, effortlessly blending charm and elegance.

The cocktails and food were phenomenal, and the level of service truly sets this place apart. It’s one of those experiences we’ll look back on forever. Thank you to Andrew, Katherine, Daymar, Elia, David, and Sannora!

We had an amazing stay at Casa San Augustin! Wonderful, helpful, and caring staff-- downright stunning room (we stayed in a Junior Suite which was massive and luxurious). Breakfast was consistently great and a nice start to our day. The courtyard pool was so nice to use during the hot afternoon days before heading out into town during the evening hours. Little touches like treats with turndown service, recommendations for restaurants in town, and business cards with your name on them to help shops send packages to your hotel really help set this hotel apart. Would highly recommend you stay here if it is available during your stay in Cartagena! Lastly, a sincere thanks to Andrew, Katherine, Orlando, Jorge, and the many others who made us feel like guests in their home!!!

Wonderful experience! Service was top notch and there were so many nice personal touches (fruit and cookies in the room, luggage tags, etc). The food and drinks at Alma are fantastic as well. Beautiful property, would love to return.

If you want to experience a superb hotel in side the walls in Cartegena, this should be a contender. Every detail about this historic Inn was addressed. Dining at Alma each day was also a treat.

What an absolutely phenomenal hotel. Everything was impeccable from the moment of arrival until our departure six nights later. Check in was smooth and easy. Bell hop, concierge, and other staff were always at the ready. The breakfast was stellar, as was both nights we ate dinner at the attached Alma restaurant. Our room was clean and functional. Truly a five star experience from start to end, and we would happily return on a future trip to Cartagena.

A warm welcome from Katherine and a great suite as booked (room 102). Good location. However… breakfasts are poor in our opinion where eggs presented mostly cold and breads felt like yesterdays.
The most exasperating element was a check out… although advised on check in there would be a “all staff” service charge this comes on top of any other service charges you signed for at the bar for example.
So the bill left in the room jumped by a further 500k pesos when I went to pay for “service”!! Sorry the service was not that brilliant so I halved it but was still in shock at the cheek of the size of the non mandatory fee. It’s awful to push this on to the bills in this oblique manner and soured our stay enormously.

Fabulous post-cruise stay at this lovely, architecturally stunning boutique hotel. Incredible staff, very comfortable rooms, terrific location.

Andrew, Katherine, Nelson, and the rest of the staff were truly amazing! They anticipated our needs and were delighted to serve and please at all times! The hotel was beautiful and charming!
