Pros:

Staff are kind and helpful. Hotel is nicely appointed and clean. Spa area is nice. Ski bus stops at entrance of hotel and is very convenient for skiers. Good food provided with half board package.

Just think its too expensive for what it is but it might not be the problem of this hotel, it is more likely the problem of the area as everything else around is overpriced as well.

Excellent family run hotel in lovely location
Pros:

Lovely, clean and friendly family run hotel. Had a family room with separate bunk bed room. Very spacious and lovely view of the valley. Excellent location. Bus stop to the nearest lift stations being directly outside the hotel. Bus A. Buses are reliable. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to my family and friends. Would return though on a bed and breakfast basis as there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance to sample and the evening meals are served too early in my opinion, with the latest time for sitting being 7:30pm. Meals in the a la carte restaurant are served up until 8:30pm so feel this should be consistent across both restaurants.

perfect place to stay during your holidays in the mountains.
Pros:

the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of beautiful Mayerhofen while the ski bus stops right at the hotel entrance. All village atractions and restaurants are very close to the hotel. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. In the hotel you can find a very good ala carte restaurant, relaxation space including variety of sauna and similar hot bath amenities. Breakfasts are delicious and generous. The standard and cleanliness is of top rate.

Amazing week
Pros:

As an adult couple from Norway who wanted to celebrate Christmas in a peaceful setting in the Alps, Hotel Pramstraller was absolutely fantastic. A medium sized hotel run by a friendly family made our stay a wonderful week. We arrived in the afternoon of December 22 after a short drive from Munich. The hotel manager gave us a warm welcome, and we immediately got a garage space for the rental car. When we entered our room, it was warm and cozy, and the description of the room on the website matched 100%. Always tidy and clean room. Every morning when we came to breakfast, a kind of personal 'newspaper' was ready on our table. With info about the weather, Zillertal, and suggestion of things to do. Delicious breakfast with lots of options for both food and drinks. Nice restaurant with impressive architecture and the kind of menu you would expect at a restaurant in Tyrol. The hotel has a fantastic spa area in the basement. It’s also worth mentioning that there were, among other things, sledges to borrow, a dedicated ski room, buses to Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn right outside the door, and only 100 meters to the town center. Greatful thanks to the Pramstraller family, for making our stay so wonderful.

A home from home
Pros:

We have stayed at the Pramstraller Hotel in Mayrhofen at least eight times since we first went in 1986. The hotel has expanded since our original visit and its never failed to please us. The family are lovely and the comfort of the hotel is first class. The food is excellent and there is always plenty to choose from for breakfast and dinner. We are always made to feel so welcome and will continue to visit whenever we can.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich, freundlich begrüßt und haben während unseres gesamten Urlaubs uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Team hat sich um alles gekümmert. Der Service zuvorkommend und sehr sehr nett, auch der Zimmerservice super. Das Zimmer war für uns super schön. Dieses Familien geführte Hotel muss man unbedingt weiterempfehlen. Die Küche ist außergewöhnlich gut, es gab immer wieder neue leckere, auch mutige Kreationen mit einer Geschmacksexplosion. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr sehr gerne in unserem nächsten Urlaub wieder ins Hotel Pramstraller, versprochen. So ein nettes Familienunternehmen trifft man nicht überall.

Perfect in every way!!
Pros:

We had the most amazing experience at Hotel Pramstraller and Mayrhofen. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff and management could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms were very large, beautifully decorated and had amazing views of the Zillertal valley and surrounding mountains. The hotel is located a very easy and short walk (5 minutes) from the heart of Mayrhofen, but is far enough away to be quiet (in traffic and noise). We loved the hotel's free push bikes and e-bikes.....it made it so easy to get around town and the surrounding areas. The food was sensational and the service first class. If we ever return to Mayrhofen (from Australia), we would only ever stay at Hotel Pramstraller!!
