Everything was nice and clean.
The service was very good, eps the staffs there.
Breakfast was awesome. However, the room has mosquitoes that requires disinfection.
If you're tired of the heat and want to find a place where you can enjoy being outside, the Thansur Sokha Hotel is the place to go. I received wonderful service, especially for Asst FO Manager Nam Sabath, who went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I booked a larger room, the Ramdal and it had a bed large enough to accommodate my two sons and I. It was clean, cool, and had a sitting area with a couch if someone wants to rest while others are active. The hotel itself has many amenities: several restaurants, game area for the kids, indoor pool, and casino, but what I loved were the sights here. There are some beautiful historic buildings to view such as the "old catholic church" and the newly refurbished Le Bokor Palace Hotel for the history buffs and beautiful natural sights at Povokvil Waterfalls for those who enjoy the beauty of creation.
There was plenty to do and a lot of variety of activities from which to choose. The staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. It is clearly the finest hotel chain in Cambodia for a reason. Thank you!
We stayed here during Chinese New Year, so the hotel was full of people and extra festive. The massage area is very close to reception, and I had the best one hour foot massage of my life! Our room was giant- a suite with 1 1/2 baths and a separate living room space. Breakfast was delicious, dinner was filling, and mid-day coffee with sweet milk was a treat. In the evenings a live band performed and it was really fun, like going to a concert without leaving the hotel. We took a guided tour one day and did some exploring on our own, both on foot and with rented bicycles. The park and surrounding area is well worth spending a few nights here. Plus, there is a shuttle from Kampot that runs two or three times each day, so it’s not impossible to reach without a car.
There was limited food choice as only one of the 2 restaurants at the hotel had an ala carte menu.
A bit expensive, needed a fair price to attract more and more guests,
I really angry from their staff, i booking via hotel.com one almost 2 months before new year eve, on that day i go to check in, i show them my 2 hotel vouchers, but they said no see my booking. And they call to check with their main office still cant see my booking. Suddenly 1h later they said they found only one room, one more room not see booking. I standing in crowd of people for waiting their check almost 2h. Until i call to hotel.com team to help, but hotel even pick up the call from hotel.com team. It is my first time booking with hotel.com and it messy like this.
to cool
Great place to stay and the staff were very helpful. Recommend as a place to stay.
A massive hotel in an interesting location. We enjoyed our stay here, the room was very comfortable and the facilities good. We had our own transport ( motorbikes) which I think improved our experience as it allowed us to explore the area easily and this enhanced our stay.
We thought it was good value for money, room, bar and restaurants. If a few more people give it a try it will help the atmoshere of the whole experience....
It's amazing up here, it's really eerie and this huge hotel is nearly empty which is great fun.
Nice hotel, well staffed. But most of the staff cannot speak English.
They usually need to spend at least 30 minutes to locate online reservation but they got this time right without me waiting. The room is always clean but there're a couple missing items like the shower cap.
I have stayed there during week days, there is only restaurant open for meal, no others choice.
The room AC have no heater function, which it's not comfortable for younger and older.
The hotel is ok. It should be rated about 3 to 4 stars. Front desk staffs are nice but they always have problems with locating the online reservations.
I am a male caucasian and I was the only single and the only caucasian .. it is a very strange Las vegas Asiat way in the midst of gorgeous landscape .. Few huge and ugly constructions shelter rooms , restaurant, spa, kareoke, casino etc .. I was full with groups of Vietnamese families ith special promotion fares .. Internet booking allowed me to pay aroud 50 us /night but when I asked for a second nite , 90 were aked .. Not having a '' group'' package deal as most of thier customers, while in the premisces , you have no other means at all than to eat at one of the 2 soltionn .. Buffet all you czan eat , regular, for 27 Us or a 24/7_7 Nouddles bar, and the simple Vietnamese soup stars at 12 Us ... It is an amazing experience . My room was not cleaned the second day and half of emplyees didnt sometimes even answer to me, they just aloof ignored me and the other half was very sweet and friendly and talkative ... Prices for any massage, first price is 20 Us ...
im tony.. i am from America, we booked our room true Expedia, the hotel was really nice..and clean, we have free KTV room for 1 hr ,stem, pool, but the swimming pool was very cold like 20 degree cold, nice gym, the morning breakfast was fantastic good, so we loved it and everything about it we loved it ...
Had a two-bedroom suite for one night. A dedicated host is nice thing from the hotel. Good service. Tried the asian food restaurant was ok. Breakfast is good.
Despite being welcomed with delicious drinks and having clean comfortable rooms during our stay, I would never go back to this resort. The activities advertised were underwhelming and the resort did not offer you access to the surrounding jungles or anything of interest. The tours offered by the hotel contained only a couple sites with each one being more boring than the last. When we complained about being lied to by a staff member we were told that since they were the only resort in the area we would simply have to "deal with it because you have no other options". Yes, a concierge actually said that to us. We all left the resort upset and feeling like we had wasted our money.
