Whale Coast All Suite Hotel

Easy access into town. Great location close to the beach. Shop on ground floor. Walking distance to the restaurant. And lovely mountain views from the deck outside. Will be back.

We booked this accommodation based on its reviews and were really delighted. The arrival is a bit confusing as you appear to arrive in a shopping mall car park, but don’t be put off. Once you find the lifts up to reception, all is well and there’s plenty of help with luggage and you can move the car into a secure car park. The apartment sleeps six so we only used one room and although there’s a massive balcony off the lounge area there isn’t much of a see view.

We ate out most of the time but had one breakfast which was perfectly fine - you select off a list with a highlight pen and bingo the chef delivers exactly what you want.

Absolutely brilliant value for money and is highly recommended

The house was huge! And we had two bedrooms with bathrooms. That was amazing! the view from my room was lovely. Especially with sunset. In the are there are restaurants, a mall and the coast walk to spot whales. Very nice location. Breakfast was ok, but nothing much. You can better go get breakfast somewhere else. Staff was very nice and helpfull.

Great place and convenient

Hermanus is a lovely town, and Whale Coast hotel is a nice place to stay.

They have apartments as well as few regular rooms. We stayed in an apartment and loved it. Good kitchen, and living room. It was a 3 bhk, and two of the rooms were small, but comfortable.

From Ronel at front reception to the porters to the stunning clean and extremely well maintained huge apartment to easy access to the great shops to the lovely welcome and attention from Werner and his wife offering unbelievable hospitality with attention to the smallest detail. We felt like royalty

No air conditioner. Hard to sleep

3 bed unit Spacious ; well equipped. Has a balcony with a braai unit installed. Very clean and well serviced. Crisp white comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty. Front desk assistant Ronel was friendly ; welcoming and really helpful . Great stay.

We were only here for one night but I would most definitely stay here again in the future, no regrets! Staff are all friendly and helpful, the apartment was spacious, beds were comfortable and the kitchen helps too! Thank you!

The location above the shopping centre was surprisingly good! Easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly and amazing! We arrived early, our room wasn’t ready but they gave us another room righter away. That was so appreciated as we travelled long days to get there. However, our room was dated and worn. Living room furniture very worn out and not comfortable, perhaps our original room was to be more updated I’m not sure. But I was quite disappointed with the state of the accommodations. The location was perfect! The people were helpful and friendly!

Absolutely lovely stay. An unusual hotel positioned within a small shopping mall, all of the hotel is located on the 1st floor with shops below. But it’s shut at night so no issues with noise. The room was 2 storey and massive. Was handy to come back after a meal out and be able to grab a bottle of wine to take back to our room to enjoy the view from our balcony. Breakfast was lovely, full English plus continental. Staff were lovely and underground secure parking was available. Location was perfect, a short walk down to the bars and restaurants on the seafront, where you could watch whales from the shore. A free lido is available at the seafront too!

Fantastic apartment style stay close to everything.
The shopping mall downstairs is incredibly convenient for groceries and liquor store.

We stayed in Hermanus for a couple of nights.

The hotel is accessed by elevator on the second floor of a shopping center. It was convenient in location which is close to the water, shopping, art galleries and restaurants.

We had a 4 bedroom apartment that was 2 levels. It had a nice kitchen, dining room, balcony patio, living room and en suites for 2 bedrooms.

The access to parking was a private parking area which utilized a key fob behind a gate. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Gift was very helpful with our luggage and guiding us to the parking garage. The cleaning staff were very nice. The property managers were also exceedingly helpful.

There was an included breakfast which was nice. The shopping mall below had a grocery store, liquor store, and other shops which was convenient after driving there from Cape Town.

We enjoyed the rooms, the town and the sights.

Parking was convenient and many things were easily within walking distance.

I’d love to stay here again.

Unfortunately the property had roof leaks and so two of the bedrooms we couldn't use properly once it started raining so made the stay not pleasant at all. Because it was about 2am that the water came through it was way too late to try and change apartments. looking at the wardrobes it has obviously been leaking for a long period as they had swollen up. The staff were apologetic though once we told them on check out
