Had no breakfast
Great overall stay
The breakfast was great, I thought it was awesome that you could use the breakfast room to gather with your group. The pool has very strict rules, like no water bottles which was a bit intense. Overall I thought the hotel was really nice and staff were kind.
That you were not allowed to bring any liquid into the pool area. It was very strict and unnecessary. A bottle of water or cup of coffee is not going to ruin your pool.
Location
Bed bugs
Very clean and quiet
Elevator floors were always soaking wet from kids in the pool
we arrived early and appreciated getting in to our room right away.
the breakfast is always great - it would be wonderful if we could go back to real cutlery.
Staff very helpful, particularly Jackie on reception and staff in breakfast area. Good selection for breakfast. Parking available. Large rooms. Very clean. Good nights sleep. Restaurant/fuel station and store next door.
Location right next to highway.
Location to arena
The pool was very clean and a good temperature. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. Our room was very spacious and had a gathering space for all of us to hang out in. Also couldn't hear next door at all but could hear walking above the rooms but that is to be expected. The staff was friendly and accomodating and enforced the tranquil hour rules! That was a plus for our families with small children.
No food or drink in the pool area. I understand the rule but the little ones get hungry and thirsty while swimming. I could see a rule for snack and drinks only at the tables so that you could still feed kids or have a beverage in the pool area.
I came on Tuesday May 5 and my room was clearly not cleaned after the previous guest (hair & stains within bed, dirty fridge) I had to stay with my sister in law that night because there was no housekeeping (in room 430 her toilet wasn’t working so we had to share mine). I told the font desk the next day and she could only give me sheets to put on myself as she said “we dont have house keeping” I said fine but id like my room properly cleaned whenever they come she told me to make sure the DND sign wasn’t on. I said I never put it on. The next day I ripped all the sheets off my bed because they were not cleaned again just tucked back in. So I brought everything back down including pillows and asked if I could have all new everything and I would put it on myself again. The front desk lady that I met with the first night was giving me a hard time even though I was saying when I arrived my room had hair and stains in it and that they just put the bed sheets back on. She asked me “did you talk to house keeping today” as if it’s my job to tell them to clean a room thoroughly BEFORE a guest arrives AND after a concern is brought up. She also asked if I could help do the laundry when I went in to get new bedding. I stayed from Tuesday May 5 to Friday May 8 in room 405 and I would not recommend staying here from this experience. The fridge smelled awful and was dirty along with the bedding problems.
Lots of options and I was especially thankful for gluten free options. It was fun to use the pancake making machine.
Our night stay was comfortable. We didn’t use the pool area but the families looked like they were enjoying themselves
