Wunderbare Lage am Victoriasee.

A great time in a beautiful place.
Pros:

Excellent choice of breakfast also lovely evening meals with careful attentive staff. Loved the room and view. Great location for airport and able to leave luggage for the day. Thank you for such a great experience.

Poor Communication between waiters and kitchen staff
Cons:

Restaurant personnel takes an food order, and when the food is delivered to all the guests at the table, a specific order is not delivered and the guest is informed that the food item is not available. This after all the gueats waited for their food order for over an hour.

Question - why was the guest not informed that the specific food item is not available when the order was placed. It seems that there are poor communication between the waiters and the kitchen personnel.

Pros:

L'emplacement au bord du lac Victoria est vraiment magique. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est vraiment copieux. Le personnel est très dévoué. Le lit est confortable
L'emplacement près de l'aéroport

Cons:

Je n'ai pas retrouvé la qualité au vu de la somme dépensée pour la nuit.
Je pense que la chambre ne reflète pas ce que l'on pourrait attendre en réservant dans un Marriott.

Beautiful views and ofcourse, good food with the right ambience
Pros:

Located in Entebbe in the vicinity of Entebbe International Airport. From the moment you walk in, you are bombarded by pleasant customer care, at the reception I found Collin, Ismail, Enoch who ensure that feeling of home atlast. In the kitchen, Simon and his team, including Shafic, Viola, Tracy and the ithers made sure I adventured with the food. The other support staff are all on point, working seamlessly to ensure Vaiola for each $ spent.

Beware! Fraudulent charge for $16,000.00
Pros:

Hotel placed a $16,000 fraudulent charge on my credit card. I have traveled for business for over 35 years and have never before had an experience like this! Please know that while it says Marriott on the website, do not expect this hotel to operate like a Marriott. (In the process of disputing charge, have reported them to Marriott Corp., credit card company….

Great stay at Protea Entebbe
Pros:

spent 2 nights here to recover from jet lag after my 35 hour trip from San Francisco, ahead of gorilla and chimpanzee treks out in Western Uganda. They gave me a spectacular upgrade to a 1 BR suite with a separate living room and balconies on two sides. I really appreciated the recognition of my lifetime Titanium status. All of the staff were so friendly. The restaurant staff were excellent was well and I enjoyed all my meals. The breakfast buffet is nice. I enjoyed the pool one day. You need to go through security to go in, but that is common for hotels in African cities, so it's something to get used to if you are not already.
