A bit disappoitnting

Unfortunately, the staff were not particularly helpful or accommodating , especially during check-in which was disappointing and affected our overall experience.

Great value for money. One of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Cons:

Because we stayed on Saturday night, on Sunday there was a long queue for breakfast. We did not get enough time to have a proper breakfast. It was very disappointing.

Should have more chairs at the lobby, especially we travelled with group of friends, usually gathered at lobby, there are only about 4 chairs at the lobby.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Concierge Service

I had a wonderful experience at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou. The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and beautifully with a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived.

A short overnight stay
Pros:

A very short stay this time - even shorter than my first visit last year. The layout of the room was instantly familiar.
The bath area was still split on 2 sides, with the tub and shower on one side and the toilet / vanities on the other.
My one complaint remains the power sockets, which were especially difficult if one carried large chargers used for computers like MacBook.

Other than that, really happy to have returned.
