Theoxenia Caldera Hotel

Property had amazing views, staff was absolutely the best!!!! Friendly above and beyond helpful. Alex and Alex and the gentleman that drove us from the Port, were fabulous. Area is great, easy walking to everything. Bus stop close. Only complaint we had or might warn others of, was the noise from local bars at night. We could hear the music and people yelling til 3am. We did have the room to the top north closest to the streets with the clubs. Other rooms may not hear the noise. Patio sitting was worth the noise. We used earplugs or headphones at nights. Amazing stay!!

Very close to the Fira bus station. Great view of the caldera especially the sunset. Just 1 flight of stairs to get to the hotel itself. Great amenities and the staff are very nice and accomodating.

The hotel staff were fantastic in helping us with luggage up the staircase. We had a comfortable stay in a great spot.

Great little place to stay if you need a place right in Fira. No views, lots of stairs (no elevator that we could see) and wifi that kept disconnecting. For the price however it’s hard to beat for the location of shops and dining around Fira.

The view was spectacular and the location was convenient and close to everything. The staff made our stay enjoyable from Alma who brought our daily breakfast and cleaned our room to Alexander who was always available as well as the other two staff who was always assisting when needed and even carried our bags to our room. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Staying in a smaller hotel gives you such a more personal experience. You couldn’t ask for a better host than Alex! Kind, attentive and caring! You will be well taken care of here!

Located inside the shopping area of Fira. I was given the choice to choose any available room I wanted as the hotel occupancy was low. Just like most hotels on the slopes, it was not easy to manage the heavy luggage from the road to hotel due to the stairs and rocky path. Breakfast in the balcony with sea view was fantastic, just remember not to leave your breakfast unattended outside with birds waiting to pounce.

Like the staff and the area. Staffs there are super friendly.

Really cute boutique hotel located right at edge of caldera . If you rent a car you must park at the public parking area which is located behind Penelope Hotel and a 2 minute walk to the Hotel . Views are stunning from the balconies and if your room has a caldera view . Breakfast is for Kings . Absolutely brilliant and healthy and fresh. A huge highlight . Reception extremely helpful and give great ideas . They do have a tie up with a local travel agency who offer rental cars but my experience with the rental car agency was below average. I would go with a Hertz type agency who are well known . Overall would highly recommend this hotel both for views . Accessible walks , restaurants and just next to Fira main square . Just works !

We are a family of four, who stayed for 2 nights, and absolutely loved it. Great hotel, convenient location, wonderful service and friendly staff. Nice food nearby and easy pickup for day tours. Highly recommended!

My husband and I was satisficed with our 3-days stay! Overall I'd like to give 4.5 stars for rating.
Pro: very nice location, close to Fira's central square, bus station, many restaurants and shops; the patio of the room had very beautiful ocean view although a little portion of the view was blocked by the roofs of front row houses; breakfast was served on our patio, very delicious and big variety; the front desk girl was very nice and helpful
Con: The shower curtain didn't block water well, spilled water always made flooding after each shower; the shower curtain was very dirty, especially the lower part was gross pink color; the double bed mattress was way too soft, made our backs hurt on the next days; the breakfast serving time is 8-10am, we bargained with the room service lady to move a little earlier, and finally we got 15 minutes earlier, but if you have an early flight on the last day, you may miss the breakfast. I heard from social medium before that Santorini people are not hard working people, maybe this is an example.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to restaurants and transportation. I give Addy five star for being so helpful and explain everything where to eat, places to visit, bus stops schedules, tours. Addy was very accommodating. Thank you much and definitely coming with Addy’s 5 star service.

The Theoxenia Caldera Hotel is lovely and the views are amazing. The room was spacious with windows to let the fresh air and light in. Our terrace was semi private and we enjoyed taking to our ‘neighbors’ each morning over a delicious breakfast brought to our room of fresh coffee, juice, fruit, eggs, savories and the best Greek yogurt I’ve ever had. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Friendly and helpful at every opportunity. This was a really nice experience and highly recommend.

Location:
Perfect- right in the middle of Fira with the shops and nightlife. Very safe.

Accommodations:
-Rooms were quite large and very nice deck space.
-Breakfast being brought to room was very nice. -There is a roof and shared deck area with relaxing views of the ocean.
-The pool is a short walk to the sister hotel where it is relaxing with nice menu options to eat poolside. Great there where they showed me to a lounge bed and was checked on if anything was needed throughout.

Staff:
-AMAZING! Travel quite frequently, and most boutique hotels give generic recommendations of places. Not in this case- Christos and another woman working the front desk upon check in were amazing! Mentioned what I was looking to do and they made recommendations based on that. They even provided a detail plan including bus times and potential options on the day of my flight.
-Authentic Greek hospitality that genuinely cared about showing the beauty and community of the island.

Had a short but a really wonderful stay. Can’t thank the staffs enough for the warmth, kindness and great hospitality. Everyone is just so helpful and accommodating and for us from a foreign country, that means a lot. It makes our experience more memorable. The place is very well kept and clean, rooms are big for just me and my husband with a balcony overlooking the sea. We enjoyed such great views. Shopping is also very accessible, shops when you get down the stairs. Breakfast included was great, an abundance of choices which I think we should be given a checklist of how much we need so we don’t waste so much food. Anyways, we are so grateful for that part of accommodation. I highly recommend this place, and will not hesitate to book again.

Amazing property, love the location and views.. highly recommended. We planned a total of 4 nights in Santorini, two in Fira and two zoos, now I feel we could have spent 4 nights in Theoxenia

Great view of caldera and Fira from the sea view room. Tasty breakfast delivered to the room right on time. Even helped with boarding pass printing to the next destination. Courteous, helpful and friendly staff.
