Excellent place with a reasonable price
Pros:

The hotel was located in downtown and it was very convenient. The room was spacious and quiet without noise from the facilities. The staff were helpful. The bath tub was clean. We stayed there for a week and it was comfortable.

Cons:

Wish there was a microwave in the room.

It was a good experience. I would love to return and would defintely recommend it.
Pros:

I really like the location, cleanliness and the smoothness of their check in process. It is the ideal place to stay if you wanted to explore and experience canmore.

Cons:

Too bad we didn’t get to use the hot tub, it was one of the reason we decided to choose lamphouse by basecamp.

Nice location but a number of small disappointments.

The room had a strong smoke smell and this is advertised as non smoking. Likely from long ago prior to renovations but still a very present smell. Secondly, I called the hotel to confirm I could book the room for my daughter (who's ID I sent) and pay for it with my card (which I provided for incidentals). Was told yes but then did not receive check in info - had to call and was advised info wasn't sent bc names didn't match. Why did Basecamp not proactively call me to inquire, especially as I had already called and the two names were clearly on the room booking?? Just left sitting in the parking lot waiting. In addition, the hot tub out of order - understand that there are times that this happens BUT guests should be advised BEFORE the cancellation date - the hot tub has apparently been out of service for a while.
On the plus side, the location is great, right downtown and the room was clean. The staff member was nice when I had to call to find out why we not able to check in. Unfortunately, the number of small disappointments overshadowed the positives.

Overall very disappointing experience
Pros:

The only thing nice about the property was the pool

Cons:

They advertised this as a hotel with different pictures on booking.com website but this is a motel. We paid 280$ for one night and wanted two king bedrooms but there is NO ROOM for anything except two beds! The room smelled bad like a cheap motel. Everything in the pictures look good but when you reach there it’s a MOTEL not a hotel!!! They falsely advertised the property
