Pros:

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja- blisko stacji metra, kolejki podmiejskiej, dużo sklepów, apteka, klub muzyczny, drogeria. Możliwość wcześniejszego zameldowania, w zależności od dostępności pokoju. Klimatyzacja, duża dobrze oświetlona łazienka, przestronny pokój. Wszędzie Bardzo czysto, w pokoju jak i na korytarzu. Miła obsługa.

Cons:

When you arrive at a hotel and instead of the suite you booked you are given some kind of mouse hole with almost no windows, the first thing you do is go to the reception and ask for the room you actually reserved — the suite shown in the photos on Booking. The receptionist explained that the pictures are only examples, just to show that such a room exists in the hotel, but it does not necessarily mean you will get that particular one. This was news to me. I have been traveling for more than 30 years and it was the first time I had ever heard such an explanation.

The next day I was finally moved to the suite I had booked, but the temperature in the room was +28°C. I don’t know whether it was heated especially for me or whether the sun warmed it up through the many windows, but after 24 hours of airing the room and running the air conditioner, the temperature only went down to 25°C, which is still very hot for a room — especially at night.

Also, I had to cross the street and buy myself a pillow because the pillows in the so-called “Suite” were no thicker than bed sheets.

So this is what “service” looks like now in hotels with high ratings. Very disappointing.

Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig.

Cons:

Es gibt einen Heizkörper im Badezimmer, der aber offensichtlich auch im Winter außer Betrieb genommen wurde. Die Steuerung für Lüftung und Heizung ist extrem kompliziert zu bedienen und leuchtet in der Nacht.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal zur U-Bahn und zu den Straßenbahnlinien 71 und 11. Die Zimmer sind nahezu schalldicht und auch von anderen Hotelgästen war nichts zu hören, obwohl dann beim Frühstück der Frühstücksbereich ziemlich gut gefüllt war. Beim Frühstück war alles da, was man braucht und die Damen bemühten sich nachzulegen bzw. abzuräumen. Fragen nach speziellen Bedürftnissen wurden prompt und zuvorkommend erledigt.
Das Badezimmer war genügend groß und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
Die Betten waren angenehm und mäßig hart. Bei den Polstern waren die Meinungen gespalten, ob zu hart oder doch nicht.

Cons:

Das Einzige, was wirklich gestört hat, war die Klimaanlage. Die Raumtemperatur war auf 24,5° eingestellt und liess sich nicht wirklich regulieren. Was ein wenig half, war das Fenster zu öffnen, weil sich die Klimaanlage ausschaltete. Dafür war dann aber der Lärm der Simmeringer Hauptstraße zu hören. Eine Drosselung der Anlage auf 19° hat nicht funktioniert. Und sobald man das Fenster schloß, fuhr die Klimaanlage wieder mit voller Leistung an.
