Ficamos no quarto com duas camas de solteiro e vista para o rio. É maravilhoso! Uma delicia dormir com aquele barulho de cachoeira e vista de tirar o fôlego. O que tem vista para o trilho de trem penso que não é tão bom. O café da manhã é ótimo mas só vai até as 9h, o hotel possui bar e restaurante, a localização é perfeita, muito próxima da estação de trem. Os funcionários e toda equipe são fantásticos, muito atenciosos e solicitos, nos buscaram na estação e fizeram todo o possível para nos ajudar em nossas necessidades. Com certeza voltarei a me hospedar nele

Nice little hotel with an attractive lobby in an ideal location - just steps away from the train station & the bus up to MP, alongside the roaring Urubamba river. Nicely appointed rooms - get one that overlooks the river - it's worth it! Lovely breakfast buffet.
The bath towels were threadbare and frayed - cheapened the whole experience. Our river-view room was stunning, with the roaring Urubamba rushing by just feet below and serenading us all night; our kids city-view room was awful, overlooking an active construction site. Having a full bathtub was nice, but it was unusually high and difficult to get in & out of, also very slippery. I hiked for 2 weeks in Peru without a fall, but almost did in this bathroom!

Kind staff
A bit “stingy” with stuff:
1. Literally two pieces of tissue paper in the room so we had to request more
2. There was no hangers (no closet/lockbox in one of the two rooms that we reserved) so we asked for three hangers but only got one.
3. Breakfast was from 0500-0900. Well when we got there at 0800, a lot of the trays (eggs, potatoes etc) were mostly empty. Yes it’s important to limit waste, but already running out of food one hour before the end of breakfast time? Not sure about that.
Lastly, communication could improve. After checking out, we were told that we needed to wait about 4 minutes for them to check the rooms. We waited like 10-15 min without any notification. Finally I went up to the front desk to inquire about the process, and it was then I was told that we could go. We only had like 40 minutes until train boarding by then, so every minute was important. (We left a couple of items in the room [completely our fault] but when they were “checking the rooms” I wish that they had also checked for any items left.
The facility was worn down for the price but it’s Aguas Calientes. To be expected at a super famous touristy site.
1. No slippers provided in the room.
2. The sink faucet splashes and leaks.
3. The electrical outlet adjacent to the bed was non-functional.
4. Inadequate soundproofing.
5. My husband and I experienced food poisoning following breakfast (likely due to the omelet, which appeared insufficiently cooked).
6. Poor kitchen isolation resulted in odors permeating the entire hotel (e.g., a strong garlic smell in the morning).
Extremely accommodating, I messed up the dates that I booked for my stay and they upgraded me to a suite everyone was super helpful and nice. Staff followed me into the city to help me get my tickets for Machu Picchu.
This is a great hotel, located right by where you disembark the train after coming from Cusco. The staff are friendly and attentive, the breakfasts are great and the room we had was reasonably spacious with a view of the river right next to the hotel. You can easily walk into Machu Picchu Pueblo from here, and the bus station for Machu Picchu is literally a two minute walk away.
A laundry service would have been ideal, but that's nitpicking as there are plenty of options in town.
I love the location, property was so close to train station and Machu Picchu bus and bunch of good restaurants. Comfortable bed! River was too loud for me.
Staff was really nice, all very helpful and will not only guide you but take you where you need.
Breakfast was amazing.
I really didn’t like the bathtub and how high it was. I didn’t like really old/warn out towels.

What a gem! This is my third time in Matchu Picchu and first time at this incredible hotel! A true gem! I started planning and communicating with Alcides prior to my arrival on December 31st to stay for a New Years! We picked the best hotel out of so many gems.
Alcides and his team are such wonderful and kind people. They hosted us like family, gave us most beautiful suite to stay, with views of the river! They came up and set up romantic bath as well.
Breakfast in the morning started with a hug from a very sweet girl so excited to host us for a very first day in the year!
Everyone was so kind and pleasant with a biggest smile.
Hotel alone is truly amazing, extremely close to the train station. Enzo came to help us get our luggage, take us to the ticket office, waited for us to get tickets and took us to the hotel where he took care of our check in and showed us to our most beautiful suite. We were truly blessed to have found such a magnificent property and would stay here each time!
Everything was perfect. Two minutes away from train station. Steps away is exchange spot in a souvenir store where rates were one if the best!
