Pros:

A nice hotel close to the train and bus stations, and the village center. Nice and helpful staff. The breakfast is great. I had a room with jacuzzi on the balcony. I loved that.

Cons:

No slipper in the room, which I would expect, if a hotel has spa. The price/value ratio is not what I experienced in Peru. It has a Machu picchu add-on.

Great location great room just don’t expect much outside the room
Pros:

I love our room and that it was facing the river, so it was not on the side of the train. Room was spacious and comfortable. The AC was very loud though and all night made creaking noises

Cons:

We were told someone would be there to meet us at the train station and no one was. We texted them on the app and tried to call, but no one answered and when we arrived, there was no mention of it. Check-in was a little strange as nobody really talk to you. The worst part was is the breakfast in the morning. We had an early bus up to Machu Picchu and the eggs were cold and omelette station was not open yet and the juices were empty so breakfast was definitely not satisfactory. Breakfast has been opened for an hour by then so we were surprised that they were not ready

I would absolutely stay here again, loved it

The location was fantastic, minutes from the bus to Machu Picchu. The room was immaculately clean, very comfortable bed, great river view, and breakfast. I want to especially thank all the staff who were so kind and helpful, especially Melissa.

Excelente ubicación, habitación enorme y un equipo humano maravilloso.

Casa del Sol fue una excelente elección para nuestra estadía en Machu Picchu Pueblo. La ubicación es realmente muy buena y muy cómoda para moverse por la zona.

La habitación nos encantó: era enorme, muy cómoda y con jacuzzi, algo que disfrutamos muchísimo después de los días de excursiones.

Quiero destacar especialmente a Melissa, que estuvo pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estancia, cuidando cada detalle y haciéndonos sentir realmente como en casa. Los chicos de recepción, Luis, también fueron encantadores, siempre amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos. Sin duda, uno de los grandes puntos fuertes del hotel es su equipo humano.

Además, hicimos la cata de pisco que ofrecen con costo adicional y nos pareció una experiencia excelente. Los piscos estaban deliciosos y el chico que realizó la cata tenía muchísimo conocimiento, explicándonos cada uno con detalle y haciendo la experiencia muy interesante.

Nos llevamos un recuerdo precioso de nuestra estancia. Por ubicación, comodidad de la habitación y, especialmente, por la atención de todo el equipo, es un hotel que recomendamos y al que volveríamos.

Relax in Aguas Calientes
Pros:

Struttura molto carina e posizione assolutamente strategica a pochi minuti sia dalla stazione del treno sia dalla partenza della navetta. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo. Ci ha offerto anche un upgrade gratuito della stanza e due drink in omaggio. Abbiamo avuto anche la possibilità di cenare in hotel e la cena è stata ottima.

Pros:

Our family of 4 had a great stay! Manager Melisa was so kind and she helped us to get settled in quickly after a long day of travel. Melisa checked in with us a few times to make sure our requests were met. Staffs at the front desk were super attentive. One staff helped us to carry all luggages to the train station the last day. We had really massages in their SPA.
