Bon rapport qualité prix mais attention au manque de précisions pour certains équipements.
Pros:

Belle chambre d epoque, propre.
Hotel dans le centre historique et près d une porte de la ville.
Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Cons:

A noter toutefois : la salle de bain était commune avec d autres chambres et le parking gratuit est dans la rue hors zone ZTL.
Pas de possibilité d aller aux toilettes à l hôtel, une fois la chambre libérée.

Pros:

Le plaisir de loger dans un vieux palais, un beau salon à partager, une salle à manger agréable pour le petit déjeuner, un patio agréable , le ménage de la chambre fait quotidiennement,et la propriétaire très accueillante avec plein de petits conseils pour les visites aux alentours, et pour se garer gratuitement dans San Gimignano.

Cons:

Les escaliers sont très raides, il est préférable d'avoir une petite valise.
Vraie salle de bain à l'italienne, un peu petite.

Pros:

It was an exeptional stay.Very cozy and well decorated with in an antique style.It was well located just in the entrance of the city near Porta San Matteo.
The staff was friendly and ready to help for everything you need.
I reccomend and I will visit again in the future.

Pros:

De centrale ligging was super (in het oude centrum en aan de Via Francigena). Daarnaast was alles schoon, ruim en netjes. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en hielp ons goed met alle vragen.

Sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis / Zimmer/Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen

Kein 0815-Hotel -Altes Palazzo mit Geschichte - zentrale Lage

Cons:

Dass es sich um ein älteres und historisches Palazzo-Gebäude handelt, ist für uns grundsätzlich kein Problem – im Gegenteil, ein ehrwürdiges Palazzo kann einen ganz besonderen Charme haben. Allerdings sollte auch ein solches Gebäude entsprechend gepflegt und instand gehalten werden.

Unser Zimmer war extrem klein, sehr heiss und insgesamt deutlich veraltet. Durch die geringe Grösse und die sehr eingeschränkte Menge an Tageslicht wirkte das Zimmer zusätzlich dunkel und beengend. Eine Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden; lediglich ein alter Ventilator stand zur Verfügung. Bei den hohen Temperaturen war es dadurch im Zimmer unangenehm heiss und kaum auszuhalten.

Besonders störend war jedoch die enorme Lärmbelastung. Direkt neben unserem Zimmer befand sich die Kehrichtentsorgung der Stadt. Bereits früh am Morgen wurden wir durch erheblichen Lärm geweckt. An erholsamen Schlaf war leider kaum zu denken. Zusammen mit der Hitze, der kleinen Zimmergrösse und dem fehlenden Tageslicht war dies für uns eine sehr unangenehme Kombination.

Auch das Badezimmer war leider in einem sehr schlechten und veralteten Zustand. Nach praktisch jedem Duschgang war der Abfluss verstopft und das gesamte Badezimmer stand unter Wasser. Der Wasserhahn war nicht richtig befestigt und der Griff fiel immer wieder ab. Das Duschmittel machte einen sehr alten Eindruck. Die Badetücher waren stark abgenutzt und teilweise mit Rissen und Löchern versehen.

Auch das Frühstück war leider eine grosse Enttäuschung.

Insgesamt ist es sehr schade, denn ein historisches Palazzo hat zweifellos viel Potenzial. Mit entsprechender Pflege, Instandhaltung und Investitionen könnte man daraus einen wirklich wunderschönen und besonderen Ort machen.

San Gimignano e’ un sogno.
Pros:

Ottima posizione nel centro storico. Palazzo d’epoca.
Le gestrici super gentili.

Cons:

Il parcheggio libero e’ quasi impossibile in tutta San Gimignano e il bagaglio deve essere trascinato in ZTL.
Il bagno estremamente piccolo ricavato in un minuscolo angolo.

Ovviamente questi sono problemi legati al fatto che il palazzo e’ antico e ubicato nel cuore del centro storico. Problemi inevitabili non imputabili alla struttura.

Pros:

It’s right inside the city walls , so you are in the heart of San Gimignano , it’s obviously a historical building therefore no elevators , we should not carry our luggage up with steep stairways and no one to carry it for us either so it stayed in their storage down , where we only took what we needed to the room
It has a nice reception room kind pace where there is coffee and tea self service

Cons:

It seem to be a common issue with the historical buildings, room had heavy toilet smell and when you add the the fact there is no AC which I hadn’t paid attention when i was booking it makes it hard
