It’s right inside the city walls , so you are in the heart of San Gimignano , it’s obviously a historical building therefore no elevators , we should not carry our luggage up with steep stairways and no one to carry it for us either so it stayed in their storage down , where we only took what we needed to the room
It has a nice reception room kind pace where there is coffee and tea self service
It seem to be a common issue with the historical buildings, room had heavy toilet smell and when you add the the fact there is no AC which I hadn’t paid attention when i was booking it makes it hard
Historical surroundings and furniture, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was good
The shower was a joke

Mooi middeleeuws Palazzo aan de rand van deoude binnenstad. Volledig in stijl ingericht. Mooi patio.

Veldig sjarmerende hotell fra 1200 tallet. Eieren er også den opprinnelige, originale familien som har holdt til her siden da.
Eieren er hyggelig og har gode tips til mat og shopping i borgen, man får også 10% på enkelte spisesteder hun kan anbefale.
varmen vi hadde, 37gr, førte til at vi savnet et basseng i nærheten til å kjøl oss ned. Det medførte at vi måtte ha pit stop på rommet under air conditioner noen timer under dagen.

Il bagno (seppure ad uso esclusivo) si trovava all'esterno della stanza per cui bisognava attraversare il corridoio comune per accedervi.
Manca l'aria condizionata, è presente solo un ventilatore peraltro molto vecchio e rumoroso, pertanto non può tenersi acceso per molto tempo.
L'accueil de la maîtresse des lieux à été particulièrement agréable. Elle nous a fourni énormément d'explications sur cette demeure du XIIIe siècle. Elle nous a renseignés sur les sites environnants et les astuces pour en profiter au maximum. Par ailleurs nous avons beaucoup apprécié la réactivité de son service face à quelques petits désagréments dans la chambre.
Il faut bien noté l'impossibilité d'aménager les chambres du fait de l'âge des murs

Entiendo que quieran mantener determinados elementos del palacio como los suelos, pero el lugar necesita una reforma profunda, las puertas...el baño enano...la cama...los muebles...
