Staff were friendly
I was assigned a room on the ground floor, and there was constant noise throughout my stay from what appeared to be contractors carrying out work outside the hotel, close to my room.
located near to the tram station that goes to city center. Clean, quiet room, clean bathroom. plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast option available. Fast check in and express checkout. Friendly reception staff

Ligging en wel oplossing gericht personeel.
Prijskwaliteit kamer. Hadden penthouse/suite, maar deed zich voor als normale hotelkamer. Hadden dakterras met overzicht over Amsterdam, maar lag er ketchup op de vloer wat niet was schoongemaakt. Door personeel ons wel tegemoet gekomen.
I liked the location. We had a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful balcony.
It is clear that some members of the staff are making a real effort, but they simply do not have the resources to work with, as the hotel appears to be worn out due to a lack of maintenance.
The room was only superficially clean. The door sill between the room and the balcony was disgustingly dirty. I walked around the room wearing white socks, and after only five minutes they were black, which shows that the floor was extremely dirty as well. The bathroom sink was leaking, the refrigerator in the room was also leaking water, there was no handle to open the shower door, and the corners of the room were full of dirt and dust.
There was also something I had never experienced before. We ordered food delivery to the hotel, and the food was delivered to the reception desk. However, the reception informed us that it had arrived only by email. Since I was on vacation, I was not checking my emails, so nobody delivered the food to us or informed us in any other way that it had arrived. As a result, the food we had paid for was never collected.
Overall, the experience was very average, which is a shame because with better management, the hotel would probably operate much more efficiently and provide a much higher-quality experience.
