We have stayed at this location many times. We noticed some changes in the quality of the hotel this time.
Positives: check-in was easy. Reception staff was helpful with any inquiries.
Breakfast was good as always. A good variety of foods to choose from.
Location- hotel is close to airport and Polo Park Mall.
Negatives:
Room Maintenance
Some examples included:
-Two out of three lamps did not work.
-Toilet paper holder- missing parts and broken.
- Small hole in the back of the bathroom door.

-stairs to the waterslide and doors rusting.
-parts of the roof in the pool area need attention.
Stayed at Days Inn airport/polo park on Berry. Check in was a nightmare, after receiving a prompt a day early for early “check in”, I filled out all forms, then check in came at the hotel. They tell me they it “doesn’t work”, I had to then fill out 3 papers again, running back outside with people waiting behind me in line already, to check my license plate number again. Then I’m told my payment method is not accepted, thought it was cleared a day prior through the early check in prompts. Now I need a second form of payment.
Then we get to our room, within 20 minutes I’m called from front desk asking if I took a luggage trolly (I hadn’t), but I told them there was one several rooms down on the same floor I saw. Then they ask me to tell them what room it’s outside of. This isn’t my job, I’m not sure why staff could not figure that out themselves.
Lastly, the entire reason we came here was for the pool for my child. As soon as you walk in the pool room, your eyes begin to burn with the chlorine in the air, I’ve never seen it this bad anywhere else. We power through, and within about 2 minutes of being in the “kiddie pool”, I notice several acrylic nails someone has ripped off their fingers and left along the kiddie pool railing.
We left the pool immediately. I brought it up to the front desk, and she laughed it off saying “they don’t clean it until end of day”. Pretty pathetic excuse for how gross it was in there.
That was the last straw and I would never waste my money here again.

Luxurious rooms with internet and TV with bath tub included washroom. It's a one of the best hotel if you are looking to stay close by winnipeg airport. I fully recommend this hotel and services including breakfast.
The pool was awful. Dirty and unsanitary. Strong pool odor and floating hair and skin cells in the hottub. They definitely do not follow the correct procedures for keeping a pool clean
Airport Shuttle
Check-in was fast. Staff were helpful.
No way to regulate room temperature as thermostat was dead. Plug-ins for charging phone were loose. No food service other than breakfast buffet that was not open early enough to accommodate early flights. Got inaccurate directions to find an alternative food source for an evening meal, so as it was very cold, ended up at a close but very poor quality restaurant. Advertised airport shuttle was just a cab and voucher, and the cab had terrible suspension.

Room was worn and stank like cleaner, towels and pillow cases had stains, definitely overpriced for the value
