Pestana South Beach Art Deco Miami

A great little Art Deco hotel in an excellent location, just minutes from Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road Mall. This was my second stay here, and it certainly won’t be my last.
The swimming pool was a lovely temperature, and there were always plenty of comfortable sun loungers available. Breakfast was tasty and a great way to start the day.

The staff were polite, professional and friendly throughout our stay—especially Marcos, who was particularly helpful and eager to please.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

Great location, lovely clean and welcoming hotel

Location is the biggest selling point. In a lovely quiet street, minutes away from the beach, Lincoln avenue, trolley buses and tour buses like big bus. Loads of bars, shops and restaurants an easy stroll away.

The hotel is not big, but it is big on service. Friendly staff and a bright open foyer.

Our room was a good size, with a compact bathroom. We didn’t use the coffee maker, as we prefer tea. Which we were able to get freely in reception.

Only negative for me - our room smelt of overpowering bleach, I mean really strong, when we arrived. Plus as you can’t open the window it was awful. Never had this in a hotel before. I’m all for cleanliness but there are so many lovely products to use, not pure strong bleach!

The pool was lovely, like bath water and so relaxing. We spent our last day by the pool.

I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Wonderful place to stay! Staff is so friendly and hospitable! Great services including umbrella and chair service at the beach. Will be booking everytime I go down to Miami!

I had a wonderful stay at Pestana South Beach Miami. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located near the beach.
A special thank you to Marcos Andre, who provided outstanding service throughout my stay. He was friendly, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His attention and care made the experience unforgettable.
I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

First time here, and we’ve been genuinely impressed.
The location is brilliant — the whole area feels safe and comfortable, with Lincoln Road’s shops and places to eat just a five‑minute walk away. Public transport is easy too.

The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained.
Lovely design, very clean, and clearly well looked after. The staff have all been really nice, and the swimming pool is wonderfully warm — practically bath temperature.

A few thoughtful touches:

• Free tea and coffee at reception 24 hours a day
• No smoking except in the designated area
• Everything feels calm, tidy, and well run

We’d happily recommend it.

A small note for fellow guests from GB:
Remember there’s hotel tax (standard across the US), and of course the tipping culture. We did our best to follow what American guests were doing — though with so many Brits around, hopefully everyone understands we’re still think should be in your wages ( but it’s your culture )

Ruan front office supervisor made out stay extra special in finding us a more suitable room and sharing his local knowledge with great personality and professionalism. Nothing was to much trouble and he remained well mannered and patient with my grumpy demanding room demands until he found me my perfect room type. Great asset to Pestana Miami hotel. An OK hotel made Excellent by the team & Ruan who manage Reception in an Excellent professional manner! Thankyou

Reception staff very helpful and professional. Rooms were great with lovely swimming pool and 5 minutes walk to the beach, beach towel and sunbeds and umbrellas provided. Great value and location.

First time in a hotel in Miami (pre-cruise)
Very disappointed with accommodation as whole.
We requested a ground floor room as there are no lifts, but were told there were none available. Surprisingly the couple who were checking in behind us were given a ground floor room!
Everywhere is "tired" and definitely in need of decorating. The drain smell in the courtyard by the pool and reception area were very off- putting.
The room was spacious and reasonably clean but again in dire need of renovation and new furniture.
The windows were constantly condensated spoiling what little view we had of the street.
This hotel is in a quiet street which was the only pleasant thing going for it

German was an exceptional front desk member and made my check in very easy and effecient.

Great location, nice staff (Carlos, Marcos, Darwin), beach chairs and umbrella included, nice pool, free 1 hour bike rental, really everything basic you could want for a south beach stay.

All was perfect. The hotel and the staff very friendly and professional.
Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach.
A perfect moment for our trip.

Lovely stay pre cruise out of Miami. Renata on the pool bar went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Food at the hotel in the evening has been brilliant. Thank you so much

This is 4th hotel we have stayed at in the area and the best so far, Pestana exceeded our expectations.
Lovely clean room, nice pool with extremely comfortable sun loungers, excellent location and the staff were fantastic!
Ruan, Carlos, German, Andreia, Darwin and all the other staff including the cleaning lady I spoke to are a credit to the hotel and make it special.
Tea, coffee and water are complimentary and we were able to store our luggage after we checked out.
We will definitely return.

Recently stayed at the Pestana hotel with my partner and had a great time. The beds are very comfortable and room is spacious. The location is very central for getting around south beach.
Ruan and facundo were a particular stand out due to their friendliness and customer service.
