Pestana South Beach Art Deco Miami

German was an exceptional front desk member and made my check in very easy and effecient.

Great location, nice staff (Carlos, Marcos, Darwin), beach chairs and umbrella included, nice pool, free 1 hour bike rental, really everything basic you could want for a south beach stay.

All was perfect. The hotel and the staff very friendly and professional.
Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach.
A perfect moment for our trip.

This is 4th hotel we have stayed at in the area and the best so far, Pestana exceeded our expectations.
Lovely clean room, nice pool with extremely comfortable sun loungers, excellent location and the staff were fantastic!
Ruan, Carlos, German, Andreia, Darwin and all the other staff including the cleaning lady I spoke to are a credit to the hotel and make it special.
Tea, coffee and water are complimentary and we were able to store our luggage after we checked out.
We will definitely return.

Recently stayed at the Pestana hotel with my partner and had a great time. The beds are very comfortable and room is spacious. The location is very central for getting around south beach.
Ruan and facundo were a particular stand out due to their friendliness and customer service.

Booked this hotel last minute and arrived within about 90 minutes of making the reservation. At the front desk, staff refused to charge the credit card used to guarantee the booking and insisted I provide a new card at a rate of $340. While standing there, I checked availability and saw the exact same hotel publicly advertising rooms for $220 for the same night. I asked to receive that rate and was refused. I then asked to cancel, but they cited a 48-hour cancellation policy, even though the reservation had just been created. I was told the card could be charged if I walked away, but not if I stayed. I left and booked elsewhere. The experience felt like pressure tactics, not hospitality.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise and we were allocated this hotel by our cruise company. Ironically, considering the fact that we’ve only been to Miami once previously and the fact that there must be hundreds of hotels in Miami we were in the same hotel so it’s our second visit here.
I wouldn’t say it’s 4 star - definitely more 3 star. The pros and cons are as follows:
Pros
*Good location - situated on a quiet street-handy for the beach and the main strip.
*Rooms clean and well equipped with comfy queen size bed, large tv, fridge, safe and good air con
*Use of complimentary vouchers for the beach - 2 sun-beds and a beach umbrella at an allocated area only a 5 min walk away
*Pool/beach towels provided
*Coffee, tea, water freely available in Reception

Cons
*Reception somewhat pokey and smelled of drains
*Cafe small and basic
*Breakfast expensive $25 dollars and a v limited selection - only hot items available were scrambled eggs and cocktail size sausages and then a limited selection of cereals, cooked meats and pastries
*Restaurant? (Cafe)/bars were closed on the day of arrival - not great when you’ve travelled for 16 hours straight and just want something quick to eat and drink to avoid having to go out
*Nice size pool but as it’s surrounded by the room blocks it gets limited sun
*Insufficient Sun-beds and as they had towelling covers they were always damp to sit/lay on

This is our favorite hotel in Sobe. Walking distance to restaurants, beach and Lincoln Road, nevertheless it is in a quiet place.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and this time we had a great help from Andre, who arranged a nice room since we arrived earlier at the hotel.
We highly recommend this Pestana to everyone!

Location and price both amazing! Staff ultra nice and courteous! Did not get all names , but definitely want to give a shout out to the names that I did get Armanda and Marco’s. Definitely worth the stay!

We stayed at this hotel prior to leaving on a cruise. We’re accustomed to five-star hotels as we enjoy luxury travel, however considering we had booked a cruise ‘package’ we had to go with one of the hotels that came with the package. We chose this one as it had decent reviews.

Pros; it’s in a lovely location - not on the busy streets near the beach, but still within walking distance. Rooms were basic but the bed was comfortable and room a decent size.

Cons; hotel seems a little ‘dated’ - like it could do with a refurb. No lifts (elevators) in our building. Walls were thin so we heard other guests coming and going. Small, little things that don’t usually go noticed - including a broken safe, shower door didn’t close, tv took two days to be reset, smell of sewage in the reception area.

Overall, it’s a decent hotel. You get what you pay for; basic, affordable, comfortable. I certainly wouldn’t say it’s a four-star hotel as mentioned online - more like 2/3 star. Would we stay here again? Maybe - although there are so many other hotels to choose from in the area.

Pestana Miami South Beach has truly been an inspiring choice. Every aspect of my stay has been perfect—the accommodations, the attentive staff, and the fantastic location near Miami Beach, Lincoln Road, and Espanola Way. Breakfast has been a delightful experience, featuring fresh fruits, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bread, and oysters. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem!

This hotel is in an excellent location, so close to the shopping street, a fabulous beach, and many restaurants and bars.

Absolutely, lovely hotel walking distance to everything the shops the restaurants the beach. Hotel has a lovely breakfast buffet if you care to partake the room was very spacious the bed very comfortable plenty of hot water. We had an issue with trying to figure out the light but the front desk staff immediately gave us assistance. The AC is fabulous. The front desk is incredible helps with taxis and planning excursions. The pool is lovely and calm just the right temperature. I can’t say how great this hotel is iand we got it for a wonderful price and we just had a basic room and it was just lovely lovely lovely definitely would come back here again. Oh yes expresso in room and left us lovely hit parties on first night.
