Eleftheria Hotel

Room was slightly slightly dated but perfectly functionable. Breakfast had lots of choice, and pool area was very nice. Access to the hotel is quite steep but still doesn’t take too long to get to the beach. Would recommend/stay again.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour le petit déjeuner était copieux la piscine très bien mais manquait de bains de soleil au Vu du nombre de personnes le personnel très agréable la plage et les commerces étaient situés entre 800 m et 1000 m au bas de la colline.

Hyvä hotelli, rauhallisella sijainnilla. Perus aamupala. Siistit, uudehkot tilat ja allas alue hyvä, jossa aina tilaa. Ei bilettäjille eikä huonojalkasille, koska sijaitsee rinteellä. Kävelyä about 10min ylämäkeen.

Property location isnt easy to get to. You’ll need a private car.

Mukava, rauhallinen hotelli. Hyvä, monipuolinen aamupala. Kyyditys alas rantaan ja takaisin oli loistava. Allasalue ei ollut ruuhkainen ainakaan meidän reissun aikana kesäkuussa. Kävelymatkan päässä hotellista paljon hyviä ravintoloita.

Nätti hotla, kivat huoneet, hyvä kattava aamiainen, kiva uimaallas. Tultiin vielä uudelleen takas ja yövyttiin 3 yötä.

When we arrived to the hotel we got a room that was dirty and crawling with ants, we tried to cancel our stay for the week due to unsanitary reasons and wanted to find alternative accomodation for the rest of our stay in Crete. The hotel staff was not willing to give us any refund but wanted to change us to a room they called an upgrade due to better view from the balcony. Same type of room and maybe a bit cleaner, but still not a room i would book again.
The hotel staff could with ease have put a smile on their face when encountering guests, but it seemed as if most of them couldnt be bothered,
The website states that the hotel have laundry service, but that is a third party service you have to order one day in advance.
Its kind of far away from the Agia marina main street, but it is a long and only up hill if you want to walk.
The restaurant/bar is expencive compared to other hotels nearby and not particulary good tasting either.
Breakfast is ok, a good variety of dishes and probably the best thing we experienced during our stay. The number of sunbeds by the pool is maybe 1/5th of the hotels guest capasity, so every morning there is a race to get the best spot, snooze you looze.
Pictures on the website seems to be fairly nice but is not honest, i guess the pictures are taken some years ago.
All in all, my experience with this hotel is that they do not live up to what they say in their hotel info on the website, and we will not come back again.

Excellent, comfortable rooms; spacious, comfortable facilities; great views; excellent food; very friendly personnel. Great price for all of that.

God service. Hotellet ligger ca 15 min gange ned til hovedgaten i Agia Marina, dette har hotellet løst med gratis transport ned og opp (må gi beskjed 5 munutter før) til faste tider fra morgen til kveld. Rent og fint og veldig variert og god frokost. Et minus for veldig harde madrasser i sengene. Vi hadde et flott opphold. Anbefales for alle aldre, familie og enslige.

Hotellet har väldigt god serviceanda, vi blev vänligt bemötta under hela vår vistelse. Frukostbuffén hade bra variation. Wi-Fi fungerade stundvis dåligt och gymmet skulle man boka i receptionen, vilket kunde innebära att man inte hann träna då man ville. Rummet hade allt man behöver, stämningen på hotellet var lugn och avkopplande. Skulle kunna rekommendera hotellet för både par och familjeresor!

Just the walk up to this hotel alone is picturesque…. The hotel rooms are lovely and spacious
