Good place to stay and eat
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and restaurant, nice spacious clean room, great food at the restaurant - the included breakfast was particularly good quality. Spa was great.

Cons:

Service was mixed - sometimes of the level you’d expect from this sort of hotel, sometimes seemed like guests were an inconvenience. Food was also the most expensive we ate anywhere in Malawi, but probably to be expected from an upscale hotel in the capital

Disappointing for the cost of the stay.
Pros:

Evening meal in the restaurant was good as was the breakfast.
Was probably the closest located hotel to the airport.

Cons:

The room was in need of an update. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom wasn't particularly clean with stains in the toilet bowl and mould round the shower. In the kitchen area the fridge handle had not been cleaned and a dirty t-towel was left for drying up purposes.
Some of the staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, except for the waiter who served us at dinner and the lady checking us out.
The hotel was overpriced for what was actually on offer in comparison to others we have stayed at.

Nice end to our holiday.
Pros:

Lovely setting - gardens, pool, lighting, outside seating etc.
Bedroom was comfortable but had some strange features - see other comments. Food was good. Bar staff were helpful. Swimming pool was very good.
It’s in a nice neighbourhood- we went for a walk before leaving and felt comfortable

Cons:

The bedroom had an open toilet so it was impossible to use it privately. The bedstead was loose and rattled against the wall - but it was fixed quickly by reception. There were a couple of big drops that could have been an issue in the dark. We put bags on the edge of one of them. The other one was the bath.
Slightly worn in places.
The reception staff were very quiet - I expected more of a welcome.

Quiet gem in a bustling city
Pros:

It was just as described in the photos. Beautiful place.

Staff were excellent. Extremely professional and polite

Cons:

The bathtub was stained and sink blocked. All reported to management and hopefully this will all be resolved for the next guest.
