Cons:

Habe bezüglich eines Parkplatze angefragt und keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Kurz vor Anreise wurde dann bei telefonischer Nachfrage die Auskunft erteilt, dass es keine Parkplatz gibt. Man solle sich wo anders einen suchen. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, sollte man gleich bei Buchung erfahren ob ein Parkplatz verfügbar ist und auch Alternativen anbieten können. Wir sind ortskundig, darum konnten wir etwas anders finden, aber buchen würde ich in diesem Hotel nicht mehr.

A budget hostel shouldn’t mean compromising on basic hygiene, security and clean bedding.
Pros:

The room itself was as described and the location was convenient.

Cons:

Unfortunately, almost everything else. My food was stolen from the shared kitchen. When I complained, the manager told me there were no cameras inside the kitchen. I asked them to check the hallway cameras instead, only to be told those cameras were “broken.” Police came to the hostel twice during my stay regarding food theft involving other guests, so this was clearly not an isolated issue.

There was also an incident where a man entered reception with a bleeding nose and left blood on the floor. The situation was treated surprisingly casually, and I was actually the one who had to bring the blood on the floor to the front desk’s attention so that it would be cleaned.

The bathrooms smelled horrible, and staff were reluctant to provide fresh bedding or towels. My roommate needed new bedding because someone had accidentally slept in her bed. Despite asking reception, she was not provided with any and ended up sleeping without bedsheets.

I understand this is a budget hostel, but basic hygiene, clean bedding and functioning security measures are reasonable expectations at any price.

Ohne zusätzliche Aufregung hätte es noch besser sein können
Pros:

Die zweckmäßige Ausstattung, sowohl auch die Lage Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und das Maß an Verständnis des jungen Herren an der Rezeption- nochmals, vielen herzlichen Dank :)

Cons:

Das Verhalten der jungen Dame, welche ich zuallererst am Empfang/Rezeption kennen lernen durfte, und welche wir nicht weiterhelfen wollte, obwohl sie es hätte können und obwohl es klar sichtlich war, dass ich am Ende meine Kräfte war. (Nachtschicht - keinen Schlaf - 26Std auf den Beinen)
Kleinen Denkanstoß an das junge Fräulein, „der Regen macht einen jeden nass!“

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof. Die Lage ist ideal, die Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal stets hilfsbereit. Für einen Städtetrip nach Wien eine ausgezeichnete und preiswerte Wahl. Gerne wieder!

Pros:

Tolles Hostel in perfekter Lage direkt am Wiener Hauptbahnhof. Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal freundlich und der Check-in unkompliziert. Besonders praktisch sind die gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld, hier bekommt man keine Antwort. Wir wollten den Aufenthalt im einen Tag verlängern, aber eben keine Antwort vom Management an Booking.com

eigenartig aber geil
Pros:

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof. Die Lage ist hervorragend – nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt und mit perfekter Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar.
