Fijn verblijf en mooie kamer

Cons:

De douche deed het niet helaas, wel konden we het bad gebruiken. Ook was er geen stoel op de kamer en slechts 1 nachtkastje.

Perfect place as our amsterdam base
Pros:

This was our first time in Amsterdam and we really enjoyed staying here. As warned by the hotel, there are no lifts and the stairs can be quite steep. However, this was worth it to stay in a canal house with a view from the 3rd floor over the canal. We booked a deluxe room which was spacious. Check-in and out times are generous (3pm and 11am respectively) and on arrival we were given lots of information about breakfast, the happy hour (free beer/wine/soft drinks between 4-6pm!), that cleaning wouldn't happen daily unless requested and that reception was available 24hrs. Breakfast was pretty good for a small hotel, they give you a selection of bread/meat/cheese/croissants and you can help yourself to tea/coffee/juice/yogurt/cereal and they can make eggs and pancakes on request. The staff are extremely friendly. Also, the hotel is so quiet! Got really good quality sleep here. The hotel is also very conviniently located to get to anywhere we wanted within 20 mins. I would definitely stay again, thank you

Can't go wrong here
Pros:

We not only loved this hotel but Amsterdam! 2 nights was just enough to convince us we need to come back. Our room was huge, which is why we choose it, tons of windows, nice bathroom but not as private as we're accustomed to (sliding glass door which isn't exactly sound proof and right next to the bed. Towels were a bit thin. We really enjoyed the afternoon happy hour with wine and snacks. Livia was a breath of fresh air, such a source of info about the city and dining recommendations.
