Groups: Bookings of 3 rooms or more will be classed as a group and charged 1 night plus tax deposit. A group cancellation policy of 30 days will be applicable. Changes or cancelations will need to be made at least 30 days in advance or the 1 night deposit will be forfeited. There must be a name attached to each room.

Staff were absolutely lovely , great location you can walk straight into town
Just seemed a little dated inside but did the job
Avoir un lit pour dormir et la vue des rocheuses.
Il y a 3 ans j'étais à coté au Northwinds et pour le même prix la qualité de la chambre était supérieur. Je croyais avoir cela cette année car je n'ai pas été en mesure de réserver le Northwinds. Mais très décevant. Il y avait aussi des fourmis dans la chambre.
Lodge liegt am relativen Stadtrand, gut zu erreichen.
Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Unterkunft ist ihren hohen Preis nicht wert.
Billigste Holztüren, dadurch sehr hellhörig.
Bad scheint seit Jahrzehnten nicht renoviert und in einem schlechten Zustand (Fotos).
Verkabelung, speziell zum Fernseher amateurhaft.
We liked the location and having a kitchen in the accommodation.
We didn't like the carpet in the room; it was very dirty. There were only 3 forks in the kitchen. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart. There are no blackout curtains, so in the summer it gets light at 5 am and dark at 10 pm. The train passes very close and is very noisy. The price in July was very expensive for what the hotel offers.

AC is a big problem, it was heating and cooling intermitently which disturbed our sleep. They should put a new AC.
Good location , much preferred staying in Canmore and not Banff. It was clean with a spacious kitchen/dinner, bathroom good shower, and good size bedroom.
Amazing views of the Rocky’s from all rooms. Kitchen equipped with fridge freezer , oven , microwave , cutlery crockery and basic cooking pots frying pan.
Windows and patio doors had mosquito screens, which were needed as lots of bugs around.
Easy access to Canmore for shops, provisions and a good selection of restaurants.

Location
Everything else. Compared to Banff or other accomodation options in the area it was a bit cheaper. However, I'd absolutely recommend paying a bit more and staying somewhere else. There was literally layers of dust on the carpet on the stairs. And it was tiiiiiiiny. Much smaller than the photos suggest (especially for the living/dining).
We stayed in summer and the aircon upstairs was on full blast constantly, so loud and blowing dust out. Unfortunately, it was about a thousand degrees downstairs, and the main bedroom downstairs had zero airflow.
Bathroom fixtures are broken and airplane bathrooms are bigger.
The beds however, were reasonably comfy!
All up, pay the extra money and stay elsewhere.
Good location close to downtown , pleasant front desk stuff
The bathroom had black mould in the ceiling , event after they replaced the ceiling tile , something was till dripping and making ceiling wet , the pullout bed was so old and the mattress was dirty and had a lot of crumbs and leftover food in it , sleep was ok but the mates was indented in the middle , TV was broken
We enjoyed the views of the mountains and the opening from our room to a small garden. The location was near enough to town without getting the traffic and considering the prices at this time of year, this provided great value for money.
