Absolutely Perfect Stay – A Hidden Gem in Andros!
Pros:

I spent the last two weeks at Aegae Blue Cycladic Resort in Andros, and I can confidently say it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The location is breathtaking – perched above a peaceful bay with crystal-clear waters, surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of the island. Every morning felt like waking up in a dream.

The hotel itself is elegant and blends beautifully into the natural landscape. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and designed with that unmistakable Cycladic charm. The views from the terraces are simply unforgettable – especially at sunset.

But what truly made my stay exceptional was the amazing staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. A special thank you goes to Ion and Joanna – their warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression. Ion’s attention to detail and Joanna’s heartfelt hospitality made every day feel special. They’re the heart and soul of the place!

If you’re looking for tranquility, authentic Greek island vibes, delicious food, and top-tier service, Aegae Blue Cycladic is the place to be. I’m already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommended!

Pros:

Struttura splendida, perfettamente ambientata in un sito ancora più splendido. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Piccole pecche che a mio parere non scalfiscono la valutazione generale

Prachtige accommodatie op een rustige locatie
Pros:

Erg mooi gelegen complex, vlakbij Zorgos beach. We kregen een villa met uitzicht op de baai, prachtig uitzicht. Mooi infinity pool, met meerdere zonnebedden. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

You will find peace.
Pros:

Amazing views. A little bit isolated, but we did not mind since we rented a car and travel around. The swimming pool is one of the best I have been with beatiful views and very clean. You can find real peace in this place, the beach which is just at the bottom is one of the best in the island when not windy, however when windy is completely deserted and you can have the swim of your life if you are not afraid a the small waves. Cant wait to go back

N’y allez pas : tromperie !
Pros:

Unacceptable condition of room...
Pros:

The idea for this place is nice but very poorly executed. We had to leave the place after 1 day as our room, which was supposed to be an upgrade, had not been cleaned properly (it even had bread cramps on the table). We had to move to another room which smelled horribly of mold, had hair in the bathroom and the bathroom sink was blocked! This situation is of course unacceptable especially considering the COVID period, but the manager of the hotel refused to offer us a refund; instead she suggested to move us to another hotel for less days than our booking and encouraged us to leave the island sooner than we planned as there was no other room available! While discussing, I met two more residents who faced exactly the same issues with their rooms. On another note, the view in the photos is misleading as only a handful of rooms have direct view to the sea and the place is accessed safely only through a 4 wheel drive. Andros has a number of proper hotels, such as the one we moved eventually, so I would certainly avoid this one...

Pros:

Amazing location, beach pool, resort in general. Views from villa fantastic. Super quiet we loved it.
Our only possible dislike was the restaurant food was not up to the standard of everything else. Taverna at beach food great.
Will visit again in the future.

Pros:

Great location if you are thinking about staying at Zorkos beach and not moving around the island. Zorkos beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Andros, organized but not crowded, in a beautiful location. The hotel is a group of houses, like a small village, about a hundred meters from the beach. It has a beautiful infinity pool facing the mountains, and most of the suites have a great view of the sea. The junior suite was nice (the bathroom and the bedroom were quite small), it has a big living/dining/kitchen room and a very nice terrace. The staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast is good. There is a very nice restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner (on a terrace with magnificent views). If you want another option, there is a nice greek tavern on the beach, or you can cook your meals at the suites, the hotel offers to do your shopping so you don't need to drive to "civilization". The only "but" to this hotel is that it is 16 km from the port of Gavrio and the last 3km (2 miles) on a dirt mountain road in very bad shape, that we do not recommend driving at night and we really didn't have the courage to drive it again once we reached the hotel (we had to, to take the ferry though!). The hotel and Zorkos beach are worth it, we had a great stay, but if you want to visit other places in Andros this location is not convenient. If you want a romantic getaway in a secluded beach, without any doubt, this is the perfect place to go.

Beautiful hotel in stunning secluded setting
Pros:

Had a very relaxing time in this beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was great. The pool was really stunning. It was the break my friend and I needed and with nowhere to go, we did relax.
What was a disappointment was the tiny, dirty dark bathroom. We had a shower that didn't empty and a sink that blocked and threw up a plug of black hair. Truly revolting. I took some pictures of filth behind the fridge and leaking pipes on our outside space. The hotel is beautiful but does need some Tlc. Also the pictures we saw on Expedia did not match the accommodation we had. Still a great break.

Absolute luxury in the middle of nowhere
Pros:

This is an amazing place to stay with fabulous view and a gorgeous, very private beach and pool. I felt that I was in the lap of luxury. The food was great, the breakfast included, and the restaurant on site, though it has a very limited menu unless you are there for a good while, then they seem to offer another choice. The staff was amazing. The landscaping beautiful. The only complaint I have, and it really isn't a complaint, just a fact, it is in the middle of nowhere. For us, for two days, it was fabulous, restful and just what we needed after Athens and all the noise and hubbub. But there is nothing at all around--no shopping, no restaurants, no trails, no trees. The roaming goats were a fun addition. It is 190 steps down to the beach, no matter how the photo makes it look. We are 63 and not in great physical condition, and our two daughters are in their 20s. We managed, just had to take it slow. Temps were mild, so it wasn't unbearable to do. But be prepared to take everything you need down to the beach with you b/c you won't be wanting to run back to the room to get it. Be advised that the beach, while stunning, is all rounded rocks, not sand. Wish I'd had water shoes. The staff makes a run to a store daily and will pick up a small list of supplies/food.

Nature & relaxation
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, spacious and clean, with new furnishings. It also has an amazing infinity pool overlooking scenic nature views. Drawbacks: couldn't see any water from my sea view suite unless I went out on the balcony (and from thee it was a partial view at best), slow wifi that is only accessible from the lobby or pool, lots of bees at breakfast, remote area and must travel through unpaved roads to get there. Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this fabulous place particularly if you want to spend your holiday relaxing nearby beautiful scenery
