The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant but the were working with the limitations of the structure (phone never worked, there was no toilet paper the first day, no hot water until we requested it, there were holes in doors and none of the blinds were intact). We had to contact the staff for every single thing. When we requested that they cleaned the closets (things like dirty socks were left behind), they did such a good job that our things were cleaned out of the room as well. Nothing was lost (everything was kept on a bag at the front desk) but I was pretty shaken that our belongings were taken. Finding a cheap and clean hotel in Colombia can be hard. I would recommend this hotel if you know the limitations and are prepared to deal with them.

You do not expect such a great hotel in that area. The facilities were excellent, super clean, employees provide a high standard service. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty with all facilities you may need.

After a weekend stayed at a horrendously rented house- finca in Cali, arriving at Jardines Del Caney was most welcomed. We were a group of 24 people, from New York City, and they made sure we were comfortable from the minute we walked in. It was the only place in Cali that I can think of that worked fast in the Check in process. (Colombians have their own slow pace for everything).Front desk service was excellent and Pedro, the hotel manager was very pleasing in accommodating us anyway he could! The hotel is still undergoing some construction but I slept like a baby all 3 nights I stayed there. The room was spotless, and comfy. The manager gave us extra keys so we could leave the Ac unit running all day while we were out. Overall, this hotel was absolutely perfect and cheap. The attention and professionalism of the staff is beyond anything I could say here. We were loud and too many of us, half of our group was always drunk or always going out and late hours, we walked thru neighborhood which was safe and accessible to the city. We left to Cartagena in a big rush to catch our flight and it was upsetting I didn't get to say good bye and thank you to Pedro and the rest of the staff. Excellent place and cheap. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It is a nice place, the service is very good, I would stay there again, they have some amazing rooms and a beautiful flat roof to share with friends, it is very comfortable and suitable to rest, everyone would like it.

This was a joke of a hotel. I usually dont write reviews but this place is the worst. First the mattress are cheap and uncomfortable. The hotel is the middle of a residential neighborhood and every night I had to deal with the house next door blasting music and people partying till 6am. The walls are thin and I could hear everything. ...I couldnt sleep with all the noise. This happend 3 nights in a row! !! The dresser had holes that looked like it was made by termites. My shower had no hot or warm water. I complained about the music and they said they had no control over that...fair enough. I complained about the lack of hot water. They told me that they would look into it. That night I had to take a short ice cold shower. The next day again I requested if they could fix the problem and again they said "yes" and again that night ...no hot water another ice cold shower...and another loud party!!!. Finally I had enough with the issue of the water and I vomplained again. Then the front desk told me that they dont have hot water!! No hot water??? I asked how does a hotel have no hot water???? This should be something they need to tell potential customers....if I knew about this I would not have come here. They told me and i quote " We dont say that we have hot water" What???? I told them that I cant believe that I got the round about for 3 days and I would be leaving a day early because I refuse to freeze every time im taking a shower and the fact that they treated me like an idiot. Once they realized that I wanted a refund for my last night that I am leaving. They offered to move me to a suite with hot water...at this point I was pissed..loud music, uncomfortable mattress ice cold showers and the frustration of the round about. I said no! Im done! They said the owner said no refund. I said fine I will review this crappy hotel online and warn all potential customers so they wont have to go through what I did. You have been warned.
