Find a Better Hotel
Pros:

It pretends to look nice and unkept but our room had a broken heater door that slammed every time the heat turned on. I alerted the front desk but no one fixed it so both nights sleeps were horrible. They claim to have a “fully stocked wet bar” even though it was just a couple cheap instant coffee pods and a packet of sugar. I paid to have an upgraded suit and it felt like I got downgraded. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated with respect or wants to sleep all night. There are so many other better Chicago hotels to spend your money on.

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary at the Godfrey Hotel was a great choice!
Pros:

We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary, so a lot of research and planning went into making sure we chose the right location for our special weekend. The location of the hotel was perfect . Walking distance to amazing restaurants, quaint coffee shops, speakeasy , Riverwalk, Target, CVS and much more!

The Godfrey hotel did not disappoint with its beautiful atmosphere , service and the rooftop was an amazing plus!

It exceeded our expectations and we are planning on returning soon with friends and family.

Thank you again for making our 1 year anniversary so special.

Chicago Trip
Pros:

Perfect stay. My room was on the 11th floor overlooking the city. The front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant. Didn’t get a chance to try the rooftop but I will be back! Will definitely recommend

The roof top was very nice and elegant that was my favorite part of the stay and the staff was polite .

Cons:

When I checked in I had to get another room my original one wasn’t ready so I had to wait and I was very tired so I was offer another room an accessible room . It wasn’t so clean but it wasn’t dirty it was more alot of dust and it spike my allergies so I did alot of sneezing . I was so tired so I got past that part . I noticed chipped spots on the wall that I took photos of and called the front desk to tell them . Other than that I enjoyed my stay at the Godfrey .

It was overall a great experience. I would recommend others to stay. The room is was good size. The view was amazing. The shower was one of the best parts

You should include parking with stay. It's way to expensive for parking. To be fair there was good parking just to much for it
