More on the fair range of comfort at a luxury price. Great to be within walking distance to the University though.
True story: I called for maintenance because the loo wasn't flushing, but instead of fixing it for us, they literally handed me a toilet plunger from the door. I was literally speechless! After paying $850 for 2 nights.... apparently I'm also expected to handle the maintenance issues myself.
Just know your paying for the location, not quality.

Very mediocre facility. Heating/cooling unit very outdated and uncomfortable. Blows on bed and noisy. Limited housekeeping.
Expensive for what it is.
The staff are incredibly kind, so I want to be clear that this isn’t about them at all. The issue is purely with the room quality, which has been really poor. I had to move rooms because of renovations, but the new room has been really disappointing. There’s a strong unpleasant smell, and the AC runs loudly all night, making it hard to sleep.
Generally, nice hotel with location accessible to many restaurants and shops. Rooms were good size and staff was friendly. Had some difficulty with thr room being over 80 despite cool temperatures outside, staff was unable to help. Ice machine in desperate need of cleaning and pool out of order.
Great location, quiet, clean, welcoming hotel with a great breakfast. Fitness room has nice machines. Grocery stores and bus/train access nearby. Walkable area with restaurants and close to Lake Michigan.
Just the location
Firstly I was charged on booking.com before arriving and still was charged again once I got to the property then the tv was skipping and searching for signal all night couldn’t enjoy that and lastly the pool looked dirty and has rust in it
The property was clean & modern with refreshed bed & bath linens and breakfast exceeded our expectations! Having numerous nearby restaurants was a bonus.
It was very clean.
Parking options are an issue.
The customer service was great. The atmosphere was even better. everyone was friendly, helpful, and nice. Really do appreciate them and my time that I stayed here.
It was close to the hospital, the staff was fantastic, and the hotel was very clean.
