Do not stay here. Terrifying experience

Cons:

The property is not staffed. We arrived to check in and the hotel was u occupied and locked. We could not get in. There is a number to call but there is no phone signal.

Nogenlunde oplevelse
Pros:

Egentlig et flot sted. Vi så nordlys fra værelset om aftenen. Fin størrelse værelse. Rimelig morgenmad.

Gratis udendørs spa. Vi så de gjorde den rent og hoppede i den :)

Kaffemaskine, vandautomat, mikroovn og lidt snacks (kiks og kage) stod fremme hele tiden. Særligt mikroovnen og service gjorde det nemt at lave mad - men altså intet køkken.

Tæt på rute 1. Den sidste kilometer til hotellet kan være glat og snefuld om vinteren, men er fint fremkommelig.

Cons:

Stedet havde godkendt vores anmodning om en babyseng, men den var der ikke. Trods flere forsøg på at kontakte personalet telefonisk, som de skriver man skal, tog ingen telefonen. Vi hørte fra andre gæster, at de også havde ringet forgæves. Det er ikke i orden.

Vi fik babysengen på anden dagen, hvor vi henvendte os til morgenmadspersonalet.

Der er utrolig lydt. Første nat var svær, da en flok italienere holdt fest med musik, høj snak og grin i fællesarealerne til kl. 1.45. Det var ikke i orden. Anden nat gik fint. Her var vi os selv og et andet hold gæster.

We were able to book last minute when weather interrupted our travel plans.

Cons:

The description says they have extra beds. We booked a family room and asked for the extra bed. We were told after the fact that they didn’t have extra beds. That was false advertising and made us purchase another room for night.

Overpriced
Pros:

The location was good for what we needed and the outside looks very cool. Staff were helpful.

Cons:

It is extremely overpriced for the room and breakfast you get vs. other places in the area. We booked this as a "treat" but it was very much just a standard hotel.
The breakfast was limited and stale, there was no kettle or anything in the room and the rooms were tiny.

Toto ubytování bylo opravdu nádherné. Oceňujeme možnost vyzvednutí klíče ve schránce. Na ubytování jsme byli úplně sami a v poměru cena výkon bylo toto jedno z nejlepších ubytováních na Islandu ❤️ rozhodně doporučujeme

Atrocious Outrageous. Such a disappointment

The picture above of the log cabin is a scam. This building is locked up. We were given a chalet 500m away.

Never got into this beautiful looking building. As for The included breakfast was nowhere to be found. No staff. The jacuzzi full of algae and as for the swimming pool. Again nowhere to
