Galini Hotel

The hotel and staff (Miriam) and the owner are truly amazing people. They contacted me several times prior to arrival. Upon arrival they had our room ready for us at 9:30 AM. I asked for a cappuccino and it was made for us. They gave us each a sheet to choose what we would like for breakfast the next day…Everyday was a made to order personal breakfast made by the owner. She is an excellent chef. Miriam the help staff also asked us everyday if we would like anything, on our beach day, and catamaran tour she gave us extra beach towels. Also her recommendations for restaurants were very good. On our last day they left us nice little going away presents which was a complete surprise. A truly genuine and personal touch. I have been to many places in my life and countless hotels, but this hotel and the two of you I will never forget, you both are priceless!!

Just returned home from the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at Hotel Galini's Junior Villa. From check-in to check-out our stay was fabulous!! Mariami and Lookman took such good care of us!! Our breakfast each morning was delivered on time and contained an abundance of food. The Villa was cleaned top to bottom everyday at the time we requested and the view of the Caldera from both the terrace and the private hot tub area was spectacular!!!

We were so happy that we stayed in Firostefani and not Fira. We walked to Fira everyday but enjoyed the more peaceful location of Firostefani which is away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise ships in Fira.


We are typical "hotel" people so choosing a place on Santorini to stay made me quite nervous. In the end, I am so glad that we chose Hotel Galini's Junior Villa because it did not disappoint!! I felt like I had my own little house in Santorini and enjoyed it as if I did. Every convenience needed was inside the villa. I will be recommending that my friends and family stay at the Hotel Galini Junior Villa for their Santorini vacation.

We had to stay an additional day in Santorini and booked this hotel last minite. The communication was excellent and they arranged transportation to the port for us early in the morning and made us sandwiches to take on the trip . Much friendlier and hospitable than the resort we stayed when we arrived in Naxos.

Cute rooms, very clean. Excellent location in Firostefani, walking distance from Fira. To access the hotel, you don't have to go up or down 200 stairs like other hotels in the area.
Delicious breakfast provided everyday. Nice view of the sea and town.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Galini this summer and it’s one of the best hotels ive had the opportunity to stay at. Amazing views, very clean rooms, wonderful breakfast but most importantly the most amazing staff. This hotel makes you feel as if you are home and you can ask them for help anytime. Will miss this place and always recommend it.

1. PEOPLE: The staff is incredibly competent, kind and welcoming. They truly made me feel like I was a priority, at the center of their attention. Mariami was meticulous with details and exceptionally attentive. Their customer relationship management is unparalleled. Thank you guys for making my stay wonderful!
2. The ROOM, BREAKFAST and THE VIEW: The room looks exactly like the photos. The amenities are good with a comfortable bed, and everything is impeccably arranged and cleaned every day. The breakfast is delicious, served in the room at the exact time requested. From my balcony, the view overlooking the caldera is so breathtaking and relaxing, and WOW the sunset there is magic! from the comfort of my room away from the crowds.
3. LOCATION: Just a pleasant 10 minutes walk to Fira through the cobbled streets, the hotel is close enough to the vibrant activity yet peaceful enough to rest and rejuvenate.

I had an outstanding experience at Galini Hotel. Mariami was an exceptional host! remarkably friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring a VIP service. I loved having a varied and delicious breakfast on the room balcony, overlooking the breathtaking caldera view. The bed was comfortable, and everything was 100% spotless. The room matched the site photos. The location is ideal, within a 10-15 minute walk to Fira, yet wonderfully serene and away from the crowds, offering the best of both atmospheres.. Highly recommended!

The 2 bedroom family villa is amazing and it’s completely separate from the hotel itself. The villa is spacious and private with incredible views. The breakfast is so good and having it everyday in our private terrace with a caldera views. You don’t need to go anywhere to witness the famous Santorini sunset, you can just chill in your own private terrace or jetted tub. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay!

Wow wow wow! The villa we stayed out was beautiful, we did not have to worry about tourist crowds to see the sunset as we were able to see it from our villa in the jacuzzi with a nice bottle of wine! The staff were amazing, we ordered breakfast at 10am and it was delivered to our room at 10am exactly each day. The room was so beautiful and location was perfect, we were in walking distance to everything. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We will be coming back!

This hotel had an amazing view for Sunset and exceptional customer service, The only downside was the bathrooms are way small. But that really didn’t seem to bother me

So cozy, close to everywhere and very nice Stuff

My daughter and I stayed at the Galini Hotel for a week in August, and our experience was outstanding. Everything about the hotel—from the staff and service to the food and location—was excellent.

Even before our arrival, the staff reached out to see if we had any special requests, and check-in was seamless and quick. The rooms are simple but very clean, equipped with everything you might need, including a hair dryer, toiletries, a fridge, and slippers. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, with Jenny and Thera (sp?) standing out for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even helping us plan fantastic daily excursions.

The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the caldera and only a two-minute walk to nearby restaurants and small grocery stores. Fira’s shopping area was just a 20-minute walk away.

If we return to Greece, we will definitely stay at the Galini Hotel again, and I highly recommend this amazing property to everyone.

Jenny was a real jewel helping with all our questions and needs. The room faced the sunsets each evening and the view could not have been better.
There was a restaurant on site for breakfast which was excellent.
The only drawback was there was no pool which I had overlooked when we booked. The customer service made up for this!!

Fabulous place it was spotless Great view, well positioned, great value and they could not have been more helpful. I haven’t had service and helpfulness like that from even five star resorts very often- I can’t recommend it enough.

Loved the location of the property, but what we liked the most is the customer service that we received. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed.
