Hotel Palladion by Anayia All Inclusive Resorts

We stayed here after a wonderful week in another hotel, but unfortunately this was a huge disappointment from the very first moment.

It started with the luggage: we had to carry our own suitcases upstairs in a very small and cramped lift, without any help from the staff. We were not offered any assistance, which we found surprising for an all-inclusive hotel.

Upon arrival, the room was not clean. We noticed ants walking on the floor, and the air conditioning had a strange, unpleasant smell. The shower was far too small for a room meant for two people, making it very uncomfortable to use.

We also needed a pair of tweezers, but when we asked the reception, we were basically told to figure it out ourselves – no solution, no effort, no service.

The lady at the bar didn't even give us a smile, and the overall atmosphere felt cold, impersonal, and unwelcoming. The all-inclusive meals looked far from fresh or inviting, and we didn't feel motivated to eat there.

When we mentioned the issues with the room, they offered to have it cleaned, but that should have been done before we arrived. That is not something you should have to ask for.

We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to check out early, after only two hours, and move to another hotel. Later, we tried to contact the hotel to request a refund for the nights we didn't use, but both phone numbers we found did not work. The first number didn't connect, and the second said the number was not in use. It seems they blocked our number or simply don't want to be reached.

We are disappointed not only by the poor experience, but also by the lack of accountability and communication.

We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing holiday.

Hi. I was in Palladion hotel in first week of August 2026 with my family and friends. In terms of our experience, it was an excellent week – the rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff cleaned every day, so we were very pleased. As for the food, we were very pleasantly surprised. There were three or four dishes to choose from at each meal, and the biggest game-changer for the little ones was the fries! Anyone traveling with children knows that regional cuisine isn't always a good choice for children, so the fries served are a huge plus! The price-quality ratio is excellent! The poolside bar deserves a special mention. The drinks and cocktails served as part of the all-inclusive package are truly delicious. Bartender Nikos and the other bartender who served us deserve a special mention – they were very friendly and helpful. A huge plus for the hotel's service. I'd love to visit this place next year and highly recommend it!

We spent a week at Hotel Palladion in June 2026 and were very satisfied with our stay.

It's a simple hotel, but a great choice. The location is excellent: the bus stop to Rethymno Old Town is only about 30 metres away, and the beach is just a short walk away through the hotels on the opposite side of the road. Sunbeds and an umbrella can be rented for €8 per day (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella).

The atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant, and the staff were always kind and helpful, including the ladies working in the restaurant. The all-inclusive package is fairly simple, but the food was delicious and there was always plenty to choose from.

The rooms were clean and spacious. There was air conditioning, a free safe (although it's too small for a laptop), and the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the hotel was quiet throughout our stay.

The price was also very reasonable, making it excellent value for money.

We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Crete. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so enjoyable!

Currently here on our 3rd day and we love the hole place!! Rooms are a bit dated but it does what it says on the tin! Beers and cocktails are spot on the pool is lovely and warm!! The pool area is a sun trap aswell. Food is id say a 7/8 out of 10 always something to eat and it's hot which is a bonus!! Lovely pub across the road and game center is good for cocktails lovely and friendly!! Vista pool bar is a vibe on its own at night me my mrs and a few couples in the pool all night till we'll into the early hours!! 🤣🍸

We stayed for only one night. It's good value for money, a lot of restaurants and beaches nearby.
