Le logement est vétuste.
Le service de nettoyage inclus uniquement un coup de balai, un soit disant changement de drap (j'en doute, je dirais que les draps sont uniquement changés de coté), je pense que c'est une surveillance de la chambre (dégâts ou non). Certes, nous avons eu des serviettes propres 2x dans la semaine.
Le logement n'est pas insonorisé contrairement à ce qui est annoncé.
Le piscine se trouve à une rue du logement, je suppose que son accès est libre d'entrée (piscine bar).
Logement proche de toutes commodités, seule information valable dans l'annonce.
Family owned hotel. George was a very friendly, easy going host. He was always available for questions and even for an evening beverage! Central location, safe to walk to and from the main strip, old town and local beaches. Air con is extra 7 Euro per night. The pool isn’t actually on the property, but it’s still a great facility we utilized for free, only a couple of minutes walking distance away. Our room was lower level with two small windows so quite dark and the decor had faded a lot since photos were taken which surprised us a little on arrival. In hindsight we would have preferred to spend a little more and have a bigger room with a balcony and more natural light. However the room was clean and all we needed for a place to crash each night. All and all it’s a reasonably priced hotel for what you get.
Without any doubt, the worst night I have ever spent in a hotel anywhere. In August, in Crete, my room had no air conditioning.They charge extra. But the hotels.com booking clearly indicated the opposite. I had one hour's sleep. It was a night in the Kalahari desert. There is no service after hours. No way of getting the a/c remote. If you stay here, when you hand them your passport, make sure you demand the remote for the air conditioning. They keep it from you, unless you ask for it. They assume the worst of their guests. Assume the same about them.
The Creta Mar-Gio is a perfect hotel for your stay in Malia, its only a 3 minute walk to the main strip, there is a supermarket right next door and the owners were really friendly and helpful.
