Where Location Meets Thoughtful Touches”
Pros:

I had a great stay at Orange Hotel Ximen and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers. One of the standout perks is the complimentary laundry service (you just need to purchase your own detergent). Although I stayed at the Ximen branch, the laundry facilities are conveniently located at Orange Hotel (Han-Zhong), just across a small lane—very easy and practical for travelers.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more pleasant. The location is superb, with just a short walking distance to the MRT and Ximending area, making it extremely convenient for shopping, food, and getting around Taipei.

Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with thoughtful amenities—perfect for both short and longer stays.

It's my 1st rime visit Taiwan @ Taipei & I had a very pleasant stay at Orange Hotel Ximen @ Taipei. The location is excellent—convenient and close to everything you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day.

Friendly and helpful staff, who made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it’s great value for money and a reliable choice for anyone visiting Taipei.

Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.

Preislich günstig und gut gelegen, war hier alles in Ordnung
Pros:

Gute Lage unweit der Metrostation und mit genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Die Zimmer waren sauber, wenn auch sehr klein. Es gibt eine Lounge mit kostenfreien Snacks und Getränken. Die Klimaanlage war sehr leise und auch sonst war es ruhig.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein, so dass es mit zwei großen Koffern bereits eine Herausforderung ist.
Das Frühstück wird nicht im Hotel angeboten, sondern in unterschiedlichen Burger Restaurants, in denen man aus vorgegebenen Speisen auswählen kann. Das war weder sonderlich gut, noch nahrhaft, zumal ein kalter Tee am Morgen auch nicht so lecker schmeckt.

Good stay to explore Ximending - 8.5
Pros:

The location is hard to beat. Close to Ximending walking district while being far enough away to not get the noise. Close to Ximen MRT Station and Ximen Station Bus Stop. Many many 7-Eleven and Family Mart around, but also cafes and restaurants.

The room was sufficient for one person. Two would probably struggle a bit. For me the bed was good, but if you are tall (>175 cm) the bed, which is framed by three walls, will be too short for you. By yourself you can sleep diagonally.

Bathroom has wet/dry separation and the shower has good pressure and hot water. Cleanliness was okay.

I got lucky with my neighbours as they were mostly quiet.

Cons:

The cleanliness could have been better. There was dust on the walls, a lot of dust around the safe and inside the AC and the ceiling lights. I am not allergic to dust though and there were no bugs or mosquitoes.

The light under the bed does not turn off. At all. (I added a picture.)

The room was very humid and the AC has a dehumidifying setting, but it does nothing (as in the setting doesn't actually exist, even though it has a sign).

Excellent location as it’s very near to Ximending. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Julie for her friendly service.

Cons:

Room is very small with open style bathroom. It’s not very hygienic especially if you are doing your “business” in the room.

Very small room with a single bed that was uncomfortable for a family of 4
Pros:

Downstairs snack area with coffee, large tables, utensils. Breakfast voucher for the burger place was ok. Kids liked the chicken nuggets there. Close to Ximending shopping and ximen MRT station.

Cons:

Our room was booked for a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 younger kids in a double room - full sized bed. Didn’t imagine the room to be so small. It really shouldn’t have been made available for 4 people. We ended up all sleeping perpendicular to the bed in order for us all to fit. :( The AC vents also weren’t in an ideal spot. Blew right at my head. They only provided us with enough linen and towels for 2 people. We had to ask them to supply us with more which they did quickly provide.
