Senses Boutique Hotel

Pros: The location was amazing and accurately described. The breakfast was Insta worthy and tasted as good as it looked. The variety was great and we saved some of the bread and pastries for an afternoon snack. The coffee was delicious. The bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure was good and hot. Bath products provided were nice. Additional coffee and water bottles were provided upon request.Santorini is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: We never found a single sign that has the hotel name other than the pad of paper in the room. It was difficult to find independently. I provided my flight #, but wasn't contacted upon landing or within the hour, so we just drove to the location. It created an unnecessary stressful first impression. The website creates an expectation that this is a staffed hotel with a front desk and amenities, but that isn't the case. The view on the website is from the pool area and not actually from the room balcony. There is a large white wall that block half of the view. There was no front desk or anyone on staff. George was available via WhatsApp for any requests, but that isn't what we expected. The pool was not available and it wasn't stated or communicated anywhere. The website talks about spa services, but there isn't anything on-site and George didn't say anything about it. I felt deceived by the website and what the hotel offers.

Amazing place

This property I fell in love with first the colored rooms we got to enjoy 2 because we extended our stay and we got the blue room then the yellow and green room the surprise of seeing what color you get is the so much fun ❤️❤️ The people there from start to finish helped us and were so lovely it’s walking distance to everything and the ice cream / take out restaurant next door had the bestttt food for any new travelers like we were it’s the best place really ❤️❤️❤️ Oh and the breakfast lol was enough to feed a army and very delicious loved loved it and can’t wait to be there again ❤️❤️❤️❤️

excellent location and bright airy room in a great location. Our room faced the street, but it was still quiet with the shutters closed and we had a little balcony around the corner that gave us ocean views. The main downside is that the building has water problems - the first night there was gurgling sounds as though a hot tub above our room left the bubbler on, but the second night it was a water pump that cycled all night and could be heard even with ear plugs. The shower was also a poor design that leaked all over the rest of the bathroom.

The hotel was in a great location with fantastic views. The hotel is located in Imerovigli which is an ideal location between Thira and Oia. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. We wanted to hire a quad bike and the hotel staff said what time and it was there the next day ready. The breakfast was pleasant and the rooms were good value for money. We were lucky enough to have the room with the jacuzzi which had amazing views especially in the evening and the water was warm. I do think the hotels could do with a fresh coat of paint. I would suggest white rooms would look better than the current green.

We were very pleased with the property, the staff and the visit overall! Vangelis and his team truly put forth the best effort in making our stay perfect. They took time to be very personal, getting to know what we needed, and they did whatever it took to ensure they exceeded the need. The room appeared to be recently refurbished and was quite nice. We were in the purple room (lilac as my wife called it) and it had a great view and everything was in perfect order. We liked the area as it was easy to get to many things that we wanted to see. Vangelis was quick to make suggestions and his ideas were wonderful. This is a wonderful hotel and the staff made it perfect! We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful blue room, staff was very nice, and knowledgeable of island. Breakfast was great and arrived on time every morning! Great views as well, would highly recommend!

We got the purple room and it has matching ironboard and hair dryer :) pretty thoughtful. They send breakfast to your room too. About 25 mins walk to town

Beautiful pool and view. Green room nice but needs a refurb. Quick walk to Fira. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

For Santorini in July this property was reasonably priced and gave good value. Super clean and very courteous staff. Room was whimsical (we had a yellow theme) with a cute yet small balcony. Nice view. The pool area was clean and attractive with enough chaises longues. Terrific view from the decks and terraces around the pool. Really liked the location in Imeroviglia. Breakfast ok and was delivered on time but you had to make your own coffee. Bed was a king and very comfortable.

Cold room, air conditioning did not work, arrogant receptionist.

We loved Senses hotel! It is in the most beautiful area with fantastic views on the balcony, so romantic. We enjoyed our breakfast every day, plenty of food. It is located near the path that leads to Fira or Oia which is really handy, we loved the location and really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Senses was wonderful. The boutique hotel is truly unique as each room is different. The villa we stayed in had a separate balcony that overlooked the cliffside of Santorini. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was how tiny the corner triangle shower was but the rest of the room and hotel overall was beautiful. The weather was too chilly to enjoy the pool which seemed much smaller in real-life than in the picture. The staff was very friendly and it was a nice treat to have breakfast delivered every morning. The breakfast selection is limited but plenty of food for breakfast.

Our trip was during the off season so it seemed like most of the local restaurants were closed. The hotel is close enough to walk to Fira but need to cab to Oia. The staff helped with booking cabs and renting a car for us.

Our stay was excellent. They upgraded our room to Premium for free and the room was spacious with all the amenities you need. Super clean and the staff were very nice . Delicious breakfast and they served the food in your room whatever time you choose. The hotel is near the bus stop which is a good choice of transportation to go around the island.Glad we stayed in that hotel.

We stayed in the queen suite, and truly believed that was the best suite in the hotel.

The view from our balcony was amazing, as you get a view of all the white buildings, the caldera and the Aegean Sea. The balcony is not ground level, but up just a few stairs outside of the room. Breakfast is delivered in a box each morning to your room. We enjoyed it each morning on the balcony which was amazing with the views.

The queen suite also has a private plunge pool (jacuzzi) on the balcony, enclosed in almost a 'cave-like' atmosphere, with lights for a night swim. Because of that, our jacuzzi was truly private, compared to other hotel suite jacuzzis. Most of them are on ground level and have tourists walking by, however because the queen suite's balcony is elevated and the jacuzzi is enclosed, it is actually private. The room was spacious, and always clean. The location of the hotel is also great as it is situation in Imerovigli (right between Fira and Oia). There is a bus stop just a few minutes walk outside of the hotel, or you can rent an ATV to get around the island, and park it for free at the hotel.

Overall, our stay was amazing and we would definitely return to Santorini and stay at Senses again!

Great experience at Senses. The hotel staff was so responsive and helped us to check in early as we arrived on an early flight. They also had a delicious free breakfast one of the days we were there. It's in a great location and definitely would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.
