Pros:

The guy on reception was good..

Cons:

Air conditioning not working throughout the property. Long wate for overpriced buffet breakfast and long wait for taxis.

Not as good as usual
Pros:

The reception staff are very helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

The room and corridor smelt of cigarette smoke although I had thought it was a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast was not appetising and flies were over the open food (cheese and ham slices). Flies also in my room.

Basic accommodation but decent if the price is right
Pros:

Room was basic but good value at £55 for the night (Monday), hotel in a great location for city centre and for ferry port. En-suite shower was nice and powerful..

Cons:

Hotel looks a little tired. TV guide and channels not easy to use. Wouldn't want to pay anywhere near the £149/night I had seen advertised on busier days.

Very convenient, budget hotel near to station and city centre.
Pros:

Budget hotel, well located close to central station and walkable distance of city centre.
Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Not a problem as a solo traveller, but little storage space if you are travelling with a lot of luggage.
