Convenient location , station and ferry in level walking distance.
Only one thing that concerned me was the defective stair nosing on the first flight of stairs.
I have reported to the reception, the man took note and would have this seen to.
Defects happen through wear and tear, but I think the cleaning staff should have reported this.

Location excellent for the Mayflower Theatre; facilities basic but adequate for the price; cleanliness first rate; parking charge reasonable, tea/coffee bundle - odd thing to do - but reasonable. Staff manager very nice and helpful

Fire alarm going off at 3am, understand it can't be helped if there was an emergency, from what overhead, someone was smoking in their room. Not the hotels fault but I definitely put a negative spin on the stay.

Nice comfortable room. Basic but the guy at reception lent me a kettle as the rooms don't have them.
I paid on arrival and for some reason IBIS didn't have this on their records the following day so Booking.com charged me again. IBIS didn't respond to my requests for a refund and I had to get booking.com involved.

1st room offered was overlooking a noisy Fast Food car park.
Location
The room was noisy due to fans going all night and didn't sleep as well as you would expect, I did make a comment upon checking out but it was disregarded and I should of got up, got dressed and come down to reception, not acceptable to me and they should know all the issues in the hotel not the reception fault though just better customer service required.

Staff were awful, breakfast was white bread, processed cheese and ham, croissants on second day, coffee machine didn’t work.
